It looks better then New Moon's...

gosh I think it's hideous to be quite honest. lol It is WAYYYY better than New Moon's poster haha, but not much better. I mean the tagline... we all know who she ends up with! Why are they pimping the triangle? And the photoshop... has got to go. lol Kristen's wig looks like it isn't fitted right. It's loppsided and Rob doesn't even look ethereal, and Taylor looks burnt.

Honestly, I wasn't expecting that much for the poster, but this was lower than what I expected.

The colouring's horrible but I like the design (prefer New Moon's tho). The tagline is true, IMO. Not everyone does know who she chooses, and even if you do , why care? You know which couple's endgame. Bella says she' sin love with Jacob, whether one believes that or not, that's a valid reason to consider someone else which I think she does with the whole craving a different set of arms. Some fans need to stop freaking out because it says there's a choice. Stephenie obviously thought so.

yeah the coloring is terrible... and I'm sure you did like New Moon's :P However, the tagline... some of us don't think it's true. But, even if I didn't care, I would be confused as heck though becase in New Moon, they closed the story with Bella choosing Edward. Summit chose to put the love triangle in the movie when it isn't really in the book. If anything, the love triangle happened in Eclipse. And... well, you know what I think about Stephenie and her logic. Haha

The whole point of Eclipse is choice, whether it's Jacob/Edward or staying human/becoming a vampire. It doesn't even say on the tagline it's between Jacob and Edward.

I don't mean to take this out on you, but some people are being so friggin pretty over this, it's ridiculous. Most of this fanbase needs to seriously grow up.

Like I've said many times, we all interpret the books a different way, especially with Eclipse. Stephenie Meyer established the love triangle, rather sheepishly. It came out of no where. If she wrote it a little better, I'm sure people wouldn't be so controversial about it. :)

And you have a point. The tagline doesn't say Edward or Jacob, however, with Summit's previous attempts to sell the "love triangle", it's what the fanbase assumes. I've seen both side complain about the tagline and about the poster. It looks like alot of them aren't too stoked about the poster.

Lastly, I agree with you on the fanbase being a little ridiculous over it. And don't worry about taking this out on me :) I vent to you all the time. I'm not over the top hating, but i still think its a hideous poster. Lol

im neva happy wit the posters. the truth is it is wayyyyy better than the new moon poster but its like they dont even try to make it look very nice.

My point is, just because some people don't think the tagline is true, some DO, Stephenie obviously did and therefore wants that for the story. The way some people seem to completely dismiss Jacob astounds me. Even if you hate him, he is in the story. Why are so many people shocked and annoyed he's on the poster? To the extent that I've seen him cut out/replaced? Ridiculous. And even one saying 'it's all about the leg hitch'. And then the same people say Team Jacob are only about abs when all they go on about is E/B's ~sexual leg hitch. Again, not about you, but a lot of fans in general.

You've been on Lion_Lamb haven't you! It's hard to be on "enemy territory" if you will. LOL I do agree though. Dismissing Jacob isn't right. We all know he is in the story. That's not what bugs me.

And I hope I didn't say anything about not wanting Jacob on the poster. I don't think I did. I don't really care. Just as long as they aren't misleading the audience. And there's alot of double standards in the Twilight fandom. I've learned that by now. And, not all the fans will be happy. They always have to complain. Which, I will admit, I do complain alot. I hope I don't whine, but I do give my sometimes negative input. :)

I've peeked in to a few of the Jacob communities, and they are also disappointed with the poster. They say some of the exact same things and do the exact same things. They cut Edward out too. Both sides are guilty of something. In the end, it's the movie that needs to be interpretted properly. :)

LMAO I haven't actually. But I've been on Sort of Beautiful and someone may have mentioned it. xD I have been on there many a time though and yeah I regret it everytime.

Well, I don't approve of that either and have thankfully not seen that. SoB is the only Jacob community I go on, and I don't think Edward is ever cropped out. If he was, they'd know about from me!

haha okay. Because, Lion_Lamb i think is the biggest livejournal community. I think. And it gets pretty crazy in there. haha Actually, some Team Jacob fans go there, but most of them are civil. Haha the Jacob fangirls would get mauled! lol

and good. I get mad at other people too when it comes to something I don't agree with. But, seriously. I think it was you who said livejournal has pretty icons, (which I totally agree), but Summit does a terrible job with photoshop. I mean, take it away from them!

and it's actually nice to find a Team Jacob fan who loves Rob. It's refreshing. I mean, alot of the Jacob fans say he's ugly and well, you know me. I just can't take that. haha I've visited SoB sometimes, and there's some pretty mean stuff about Edward there sometimes. I just ignore them though. Alot of Lion_Lamb[ers] check SoB sometimes too. And, well "we'll be watching you..."

I don't know how anyone who likes Jacob or Taylor can go there to be honest. The amount of hate is beyond belief. I would hope they are, as are people who like Edward at SoB. But that's what I like about SoB. They don't ban people for disagreeing. They don't tell them to GTFO. They usually respect their opinions. From what I've seen, l_l refuse to acknowledge other's opinions. And one post I saw saying that obviously most don't like Jacob (understandable on an E/B com) and therefore Taylor will get the short end of the stick. Erm yeah, NO. Sorry.

Most of SoB actually love Rob. xD just not Edward. And I have no doubt they are mean about Edward but they never resort to name calling. Not even gonna get started, but never have I seen 'failward'.

I am well aware of it and it's vice versa too. I don't want to turn this into a community war lmao, obviously a J/Ber is gonna find an E/B site worse and vice versa.

There are some who like Taylor, but not Jacob. Taylor is not Jacob. LOL I think they are just bitter for E/B getting the short end of the stick. I mean, E/B-ers were seriously shorted in New Moon. For example: Italy and post Italy. The scenes were choppy and roughly edited. And, though I don't mean to pick fights, Jacob was added when it wasn't always necessary. For example, the parking lot scene. I have to admit, I do take it out on Jacob sometimes that E/B don't get enough recognition in New Moon. Actually, more on Melissa. haha her preference for Jacob :)

And, I guess I haven't been on there enough, but alot of what I had seen, alot hated Rob! Lol however, I haven't seen enough I guess :)

It was unnecessary. Alot of fans were pissed about that. And the fact that their lips were touching when they were in her house. It wasn't like that in the book. I was pissed at that actually, oops. LOL and yeah. The actors aren't the characters themselves.

I have to be honest. I don't hate Taylor, but I don't love him. He's a kid actor (I still see him as a kid. He's just so innocent. LOL) who is pursuing his dream. He wants to be an actor. There's still room for him to mature up. But his dedication is awesome and impressive :) However, Rob gets hate from guys. I don't have problem with people hating Taylor. I don't have a problem with you disliking Taylor. I just think a lot of fan's hate for him is irrational. Rob will always have that, sadly. So will Kristen and Taylor. They've been in a massively popular yet slated by critics set of movies. People will always judge them for that. NOOO, REALLY?? I watched them online, I can hardly remember them... Deleted scenes were boring except for Mike who was awesome. Extended scenes... I liked the J/B one in Bella's room, Carlisle & Bella scene (you do not know how much I have considered Bella/Carlisle after that) and the Charlie and Bella scene. Charlie owns. I was surprised with the lack of E/B though. They could have done a lot more. The plane journey home from Italy was one of my fave E/B moments from all the books... Really wish they'd included it.

Rant to me anytime. Please. I feel like it's all I do. And I know I'm just being overly sensitive right now because I'm ill. :/

Yes. Alot of the hate is irrational. haha I think out of all of them, Kristen gets the most hate just because of jealous girls. But, she has so many fans too. Yeah. It's terrible. They blame Twilight for their success. Although, I do think Rob and Kristen have acting chops. Taylor... needs to work on his acting, my opinion, however, like I said. I'm glad you liked some of them. I didn't really like any of them except maybe the extended bella and jacob car ride right before bella sees Sam cliff dive. :) There was alot of dialog from the books that were in the extra scenes. And, if you watch the Carlisle/Bella scenes... Carlisle has an English accent. That kind of bugged me. Just smack dab in the middle. I have no problem with english accents, lol. it was just Carlisle isn't supposed to have one. haha And yes. The plane ride. Actually, I really like Esme and Edward's moment. "You will never do that do me again." "Sorry mom." XD Adorable <3 But, E/B moments were lacking. I honestly thought they would have filmed more. It disappoints me that they are... hiding them :P

I can't really comment on acting, let's be fair. I don't know what I'm talking about. I bloody hated any form of Drama at school, I was never confident enough, it was like a form of torture. xD AHH!!! I can't resist! Well I can right now because I need sleep but yeah. I forgot about the car ride. That was cool. That was a pretty big part of the NM book wasn't it? Jacob helping Bellalook for the meadow? Haven't read it in so long. Why wouldn't they include it? :/ Weird, I didn't notice. But then I wouldn't think English have accents lol. I can't recognise my own accent haha. Blame Robsten. Bet they're keeping them for themselves. xD

YES. It's soo funny. That blonde woman especially. In the Ryan Seacrest interview and she looked like she was saying I'm gonna slit your throat lmao. There was one at the Remember Me premiere and the interviewer just said 'We saw Kristen Stewart' and she literally is about to pounce before she realizes you can ask something other than 'you dating?'

I know! Lol I saw that. Are you talking about the Remember Me UK Premiere? Because that one was quite funny. She was asking if Kristen was at the premiere to support him. LOL I'm like... Calm down! Lol if there are still people who don't think they are dating, which there are, the PR people give many hints away! lol
