Chapter Six (is anyone 읽기 this, if so please 코멘트 cos I might stop 글쓰기 cos theres no point)


She came bombing around the corner; astride an old mud splattered black dirt bike. Her short spiky black hair was tousled 의해 the wind, her dark brown eyes showed no hint of fear as she came round the corner and saw that she would collide with us. She only smiled showing off her almost perfect white teeth. Seth swerved out the way, narrowly missing a 나무, 트리 but I stood my ground. It wasn’t like I would be the one to die. 늑대인간 healed too quickly.
I actually didn’t think she would stop, but at the last 초 she hit the break and kicked the back end if the bike round so she came to a sliding stop just in front of me. I could have said a lot of things to her, as she sat on her bike laughing when she could’ve killed us, if we could be killed that easily.
“What the bloody hell was that Samantha? 당신 shouldn’t be pissing about that fast. I wouldn’t have thought even 당신 were that much of a bloody prat.” I said sourly, trying to add as many swear words as I could. Samantha Kirk was well known around La Push. She was the trouble maker, always doing something stupid 또는 plain annoying. She had caused so much damage to the school, and done so many stupid, reckless things that I was surprised the school still let her threw its gates.
“Ergh!” She rolled her eyes “Sam. My name’s Sam. And I wasn’t the one pissing about, 당신 were the ones pissing about in the middle of the road going in slow motion.” She laughed. Seth wheeled his bike over to us.
“Hi Sam.” He said kindly. He was such a nice kid.
“Who are you?” She nodded to Seth.
“Seth Clearwater.”
“Oh right brother of Leah, she’s such a bit…” she began.
“C’mon Seth.” I interrupted, turning to go.
“Wait.” She squinted at me “You’re Embry Call right?”
“Err… yeah.”
“Well then Embry, lets see how fast 당신 are!” She said kick starting her bike and speeding off. I growled feeling completely pissed off, and so very reckless.
“You’re on!” I snarled racing after her. She was fast but I’d been riding since I could walk so I breezed past her, giving her a wave. The road ran out all too soon, and we both had to execute a sliding stop this time at the last moment. I was about a cm away from the ditch at the end of the road. My 심장 was racing and adrenaline was pumping around my body.
“You feel that?” Sam asked “Your 심장 beating so fast 당신 think it might explode and the adrenaline in your veins making 당신 feel like 당신 could jump off a cliff and survive. Now 당신 know why I am like this all the time. Crazy 24/7.” She grinned.
I was confused “Why exactly are 당신 telling me this?”
“Because I think 당신 might understand.” She explained “You’ve been hurt too. I like 당신 Embry. Not like Leah…” She grinned. I wondered if she liked me because I was a guy. “I can help 당신 deal with the pain and show everyone you’re strong.” She explained.
“So what do 당신 suggest doc?” I asked playfully.
“A good dose of recklessness, one spoonful of fun and…” She leant closer to me and cupped her hand around my ear and whispered “A cupful of romance.” My 심장 sped up. Romance? Did she mean with her? My thoughts were cut short when her soft lips met mine. Her lips moved quickly and she yanked her self closer too me, tangling her fingers in my hair. I slowly and tentatively put my hand on her hip. Then here hands slid from my hair and down to my shoulders. Before I knew what was happening she ripped my t-shirt off me. Then I realised. She was Leah’s age and I was only 17. She obviously wanted 더 많이 than I did. I carefully pulled away from her. She grimaced.
“What did 당신 do that for?” She asked. I shrugged; feeling embarrassed. I didn’t want to tell her she was the first girl I’d kissed. She looked unsatisfied 의해 my answer and she was about to say something, when her eyes looked me up and down. Her mouth fell open. “Hey!” she gasped “You’re ripped!” I looked down at myself. I guess to someone who hadn’t seen Jake, Quil, Sam, Paul, Jared 또는 even Seth half naked I did look ‘ripped’. I smiled, this could work out. I felt carefree and happy.
“You wanna hang out together?” She asked innocently “You know my history as well as anyone. Bad Girl, trouble maker, blah, blah, blah… that’s what its like with me all the time.” She put her hand on my chest, over where my 심장 was. It was still beating faster than I ever thought it could. “You could feel like this all the time.” She grinned. That sealed the deal. I felt better than I done in along time. I wasn’t alone anymore. I wasn’t hurting from being teased anymore. I wasn’t hurting from finding out who my Dad was anymore. I wasn’t hurting from my mom’s constant out of control behaviour. I felt fantastic.
“Sure!” I agreed.
“Ok then. Lets go ride somewhere just sitting here is so boring!” She rolled her eyes.
“Where?” I tried to think of all the places 당신 could ride around La Push. It didn’t take long.
She grinned “The school field duh! It’s perfect!”
I did a double take, then realised she wasn’t joking. “But what if we get caught?” I gulped.
She sighed, kick starting her bike, and turning it round. “You coming 또는 not?”
