Scarlet Malone (twilight) chapt 2
The 다음 morning I woke up to a thunder storm. The first thing I did was check my email, like I did every morning. I don't know why I did this, I thought that I would wake up one morning and have a 이메일 from a friend. I got off the 침대 and stretched, I was stiff from laying in the same postion all night long. I went to the dresser drawers and looked in them. They were empty. I forgot that I wasn't at my own house. I felt the hair on the back of my neck stand up when I remember everything that happen. I found some but they were not the ones I thought I had packed. I took them and went to Edwards door so I could use his bathroom. I knocked on the door. No one came to the door. I jumped as I heard thunder boom. I heard Edward laugh as he leaned against the door frame. Edward handed me a wash rag to dry my face on. Thanks. I said as I took it and wiped my face off. I took my hair down from the ponytail and shook it out. Do 당신 have a brush? I asked. I forgot a lot of stuff. I told Edward as he came around me and got the brush for me. I didn't jump as I heard thunder this time, it helped to see when it lighten so I could listen out for the thunder. Do 당신 like syrup 또는 버터 on your pancakes? Edward asked. Nope, I like em' plain so I can taste the chocolate. I said. Ahh. Edward said as he sat the plate infront of me. Thanks, they smell so good. I said. Wow they taste even better than they smell. I said with a mouth full. Can I have some milk? I asked as I got up. I'll get it. Edward said. Okay, thanks. I said. I took a couple of sips of the 우유 than ate some 더 많이 pancakes. I went to their living room and looked out there huge glass wall. It was pouring rain, I didn't like it that much and for it to be summer it sure was cold here. I went up stairs and got my iPod, I was bored, and I didn't know what else to do. I went to the room and put my earphones in and turned some 음악 on. I got on my computer and checked my email, I'm not even really sure why I had a laptop. I don't have any 프렌즈 to 이메일 and I don't have a myspace 또는 facebook. I put my computer screen down and just laid on my bed. I went sleep and dreamed about my first 일 of school. I rode my bike to school and locked it up. There was another new girl, everyone surrounded her and asked her question, wanted to he 프렌즈 with her and everyone was pushing pass me to get to her. She got to sit 의해 Edward and I had to sit at the teacher's desk. Everyone stared at me and wouldn't talk to me. It was lunch time and I went to go sit with the Cullens but the new girl was there and they ignored me so I sat alone. I woke up and jumped at the sight of Alice waking me up. Edward was salmost touching my shoulder with his arm, it was a little cramped for him but I fit perfectly. I saw him smile, like he had heard me thought. We arrived at the shopping mall. Finially. I thougt to myself. I got out and tookna deep breath. My head was going crazy since I was so close to Edward in the car. I didn't know where we were but it was cool looking. This mall had everything from a BMX and 홍어, 스케이트 샵 to a high price stores. It was amzing. Where to first? I asked. Tilly's. Alice said. Okay cool. I said. Jasper and Alice were in front of me and Edward. We walked quitely to the first store. A clothing deparent. Alice loved shopping, it was like watching a kid open a present on 크리스마스 day. We went into a ton of clothing shops. Alice do 당신 think we can go into that bike 샵 before we leave here? I asked. Yeah, let's eat first. Alice said. We went and ate at some fancy resturant. We ate and than we wet to the bike shop. How can I help 당신 guy? The guy said as we entered the stores. We are just looking. I said. Do 당신 홍어, 스케이트 또는 bike? The guy asked Edward and Jasper. No, she does though. Edward said as I turned around. I tried both but I really like BMX. I told the guy. Oh okay, we dot get any girls in here unless they are with there boyfriends but it looks the exact oppsite. Oh he's not my boyfriend. I said as Edward said she's nit my girlfriend. Edward said as the same time as me. The guy just smiled and said okay. I looked around for couple of 분 and than left to go back home.
Esward's POV
I never thought that shopping would he so tiring to a human before. Scarlet fell asleep in the car on the way 집 from the mall. We just had to go in a tiny car. I thought to myself. I don't know if I mined being this close to Scarlet. I read Alice's mind, she was going crazy at the thought of Scarlet liking me. Maybe I liked her a little bit but I don't know if I should like her. I'm a vampire and she is human, I'm suppose to kill her 또는 so I thought. Scarlet's mind when she dreamed was amzing. She was always dreaming about BMX 또는 having a nightmare. Scarlet was never scared when she had nightmare. Her thought were amazing, she was so complex. They was something about this girl that I wanted to know about and getti know her. I felt like I needed to protect her, I don't know from what but it just felt like it. I felt bad for her, she only had us as friends, her dad was never home. I felt bad for her. Her scent smelled so good, she always smelled like roses, I craved her scent 더 많이 and more. I wanted to know what she tasted like. Jasper pull over. I said. Why what's wrong? Jasper asked. I have to vet out of here. I said through my teeth. I was so close to biting her, I craved her so bad. I wanted to go back to the car but I didn't know if I could stop myself from killing Scarlet. I ran as far as possible had a couple of deer and headed home. Scarlet was so facsinating, I rarely understood what was going on inside her head. It was like she saw everything from a different view than most people. The funny thing was that I could only read her mind when she was asleep. I was home, when I walked inside Scarlet and them had just gotten hackfrom the shopping trip. If 당신 ever need to stay with us while your dad has a night shift do not hesitate to call us. Esme said. Okay thank you. Scarlet said. They walked out the door. We got to our house. It creeped me out so bad. I did not know how I was going to go sleep tonight. I got inside the house and told dad that I was going to head to 침대 early. He told me goodnight and I went up stairs. I got to my bedroom and turned on everight I owned. I was scared to death. I turned on my laptop and had played some music. I don't know if I mined being this close to Scarlet. I read Alice's mind, she was going crazy at the thought of Scarlet liking me. Maybe I liked her a little bit but I don't know if I should like her. I'm a vampire and she is human, I'm suppose to kill her 또는 so I thought. Scarlet's mind when she dreamed was amzing. She was always dreaming about BMX 또는 having a nightmare. Scarlet was never scared when she had nightmare. Her thought were amazing, she was so complex. They was something about this girl that I wanted to know about and getti know her. I felt like I needed to protect her, I don't know from what but it just felt like it. I felt bad for her, she only had us as friends, her dad was never home. I felt bad for her. Her scent smelled so good, she always smelled like roses, I craved her scent 더 많이 and more. I wanted to know what she tasted like. Jasper pull over. I said. Why what's wrong? Jasper asked. I have to vet out of here. I said through my teeth. I was so close to biting her, I craved her so bad. Jasper stopped and I laid Scarlet down gently and than ran for the woods. 당신 can't kill her. I thought over and over. I wanted to go back to the car but I didn't know if I could stop myself from killing Scarlet. I ran as far as possible had a couple of deer and headed home. I remember thY Scarlet was going to go 집 and sleep in her room. I was happy because I would not kill her but I was sad that I would not get to watch her sleep. Scarlet was so facsinating, I rarely understood what was going on inside her head. It was like she saw everything from a different view than most people. Scarlet was seeing right through our human plan, she knew there was something different about us but she had not thought about 뱀파이어 또는 anything else like that. The funny thing was that I could only read her mind when she was asleep. I was home, when I walked inside Scarlet and them had just gotten hackfrom the shopping trip. She was awake so they eithered they tried to pick her up and she woke up 또는 she just woke up in the car. Are 당신 okay? Alice thought. Yeah, I am fine now. I planned to think. I heard Scarlet's phone ring "Polyamorous" 의해 "Breaking Benjamin". She open her phone, it was her father. 저기요 Dad, what's up? Scarlet asked into the phone. Be getting packed up, I am on my way to the Cullen's house. I heard her dad said to her over the phone. Okay. How long are 당신 going to be? Scarlet asked her dad. 10 to 15 minutes. Her dad said. Okay, bye. Scarlet said. Bye 사랑 you. Her dad said and she shut the phone. I have to go pack, dad is coming to pick me up. Scarlet told everyone. I will help 당신 pack. Alice said as she pulled her up stairs. Okay. Scarlet said. I followed behind them. I leaned against the door frame and watched Scarlet pack her stuff up. I could tell that she was scared to go home. I heard her dad's BMW turn onto our drive way. She shoved her laptop into her backpack and than shoved her iPod into her 재킷, 자 켓 pocket. She sighed when she heard the door bell. I will carry your bag. I said as Scarlet walked past me. Okay, thanks. Scarlet said. Thank 당신 for letting us stay at your. I heard Mr. Malone say to Carisle as we walked into the living room. Scarlet saw her father and her faced changed to show no emotion. I looked over at Jasper, he just kept looking at Scarlet. Bye thanks for letting me stay. Scarlet told us. If 당신 ever need to stay with us while your dad has a night shift do not hesitate to call us. Esme said. Okay thank you. Scarlet said. They walked out the door. What tone do 당신 have to go work tomorrow? Scarlet asked her dad when they got into the car. 4 in the morning. Why? Mr. Malone asked Scarlet. I thought I would go to work with you. Scarlet said. Oh okay, are 당신 sure? Her dad asked. Positive. Scarlet said as she put in her earphones and cranked the volume up on a song called "Papercut" bye "Linkin Park".
Scarlet's POV
We got to our house. It creeped me out so bad. I did not know how I was going to go sleep tonight. I got inside the house and told dad that I was going to head to 침대 early. He told me goodnight and I went up stairs. I got to my bedroom and turned on everight I owned. I was scared to death. I turned on my laptop and had played some music. I heard my phone buzz, it told me I had a text message. 저기요 it is Edward, did 당신 make it 집 okay? Wow that's a little creppy but he cared to know that I made it 집 okay! I was falling for Edward but I do not think he was falling for me. Hi, I did not know 당신 had my number and yes I did make it 집 okay. Thank 당신 for caring. I said on the text maessage and than hit send. Okay well I will let 당신 go to bed. Edward said throught a text. Okay, I doubt I will be going to sleep anytime soon. I said. Oh okay, well we can talk on the phone if 당신 like. Edward said. Okay sounds cool. I said. My phone started ringing! It was Edward! I was excited. Hello! I said into the phone a little bit to excitedly. Hey. Edward said. I could almost see him smiling his gorgeous smile. Dad walked into the room. Who are 당신 talking to? Dad asked. Dad, I said smiling and annoyed. Come on tell me. Dad said. Fine if it will only make 당신 go away. It's Edward. I said. Okay, just don't stay up too late. Dad said as he closed my door. Edward and I talked for a long time and than he had to go but I think he let me go because I could not quite yawning. I fell asleep quickly and dreamed. I woke up from a nightmare and saw Edward standing in the room. I had tears running down my cheeks, apperently I has been crying. I patted the 침대 and went to turn on the light. When I turned back around Edward was no in the room. It mad me sad and I felt really scared. It was only midnight so I tried to go back asleep. I did not go back to sleep as quickly as I wished but I was finially able to go back asleep.
