Chapter 3: When everything turns upside down!!!
When I woke up my vision was a little blurry, but after I blinked a couple of times my view came back in focus.
"Hey honey, how are 당신 feeling" his sweet voice rang through my ears. I winced - a normal reaction - as he caressed my arm.
"Alright what happened?"
"We don't know....we were hoping 당신 would remember" he pleaded.
I wasn't sure if I wanted to tell him the truth. I was afraid he would be angry at me if he found out I followed Jessica. Thats when I remembered why I was there in the first place.
"Zane! Crap!"
I tried getting up but a stabbing pain came from my thigh. I flopped back down and groaned.
"Whats wrong Steph, does your leg hurt?" he stared at me.
"No" I lied
"I took my sister to the 영화 last night and I think she still might be there" I sighed and clasped my leg, luckily he didn't see my sudden movement.
"Don't worry someone has got her" he said calmy.
"Wait how did 당신 know I was there in the ally? Can one of your family tell the future 또는 something." I acted surprised.
"I didn't know I was in town and I heard someone screaming so I followed it and found 당신 unconscieus on the ground."
"I followed Jessica Waters" I blurted it out and closed my eyes so I couldn't see his expression.
"I thought so" he said in a reassuring tone.
"You already knew, why din't 당신 tell me?" I yelled at him.
"I didn't know 당신 wanted to know!" he said surprised.
"Aren't 당신 angry at me for following her." I questioned him
"No but I am curious why 당신 did"
"Well I umm saw Arnie and Ashleigh in Mcdonalds" I paused.
"and Jess Waters sat down with them. After ten 분 또는 so the walked out so I followed them. I saw some white glowing come from this crack in the wall, I walked in there and Arnie and Ashleigh were lying on the floor"
I stopped as I heard a gasp and this time it wasn't me it was Zane.
"What Zane? What is it?" I asked worried.
"Jessica was trying to recruit a pack, I have to go tell Mark" he thought aloud.
"What are 당신 talking about and who is Mark?"
"Jessica was turning Arnie and Ashleigh into witches. She is trying to recruit a pack, I have to tell Mark, I will be back" he kissed me gently on my forehead and swiftly left through the door. I felt a bit drowsy so I closed my eyes and instantly drifted to sleep.
This time I had a dream It was pretty much the same of what happened last night, but there was snippets of something new. A red blaze and white glowing appeared in the distance. I stood up and walked towards the lights. As I approached them I saw Jess, Ash, and Arnie pointing there....magic towards the red blaze, Which I noticed was a fire. As I turned to the red blaze I saw two golden eyes shimmering in the light and another two and another two. I didn't want to think about who those people were. I felt the water well in my eyes and overflow down my cheeks.
"Stop it, DON'T HURT THEM, STOP IT," I tried screaming but no sound came out. Suddenly the 불, 화재 was right infront of my eyes. Then I realised I was in the 불, 화재 on 상단, 맨 위로 of the ones I loved. It started burning me and then my eyes flew open with a muffled scream. I quickly sat up and wiped my wet face on the doona and then I felt a cold hand on my clammy forehand.
"Steph are 당신 ok" Zane asked wiping the sweat and tears off my face.
"Just a bad dream" I puffed
"Want to talk about it?" he asked in a soothing voice.
"Maybe later" I was fully awake now and even to terrified to go back to sleep.
"Zane who is Mark?"
"My Dad"
"Biological Dad 또는 당신 adopted?"
"Honey aren't 당신 tired, try and get some rest" he told me shaky,
"If 당신 don't want to talk about it, it's fine I respect that" I was trying to use reverse physcology.
"Tell me what your dream was about" he was obviously trying to change the subject.
"It was nothing. It wasn't real, it was half real. Nightmares don't come true...I guess I can't really say that I am surrounded 의해 magic and myths." I giggled
"Are 당신 saying I'm a nightnare" he smirked.
"No 당신 were a dream and 당신 came true and I will never regret wishing for you!"
"Thankyou, I 사랑 you" he caressed my skin and then held my hand.
"Now your dream"
I told him about my dream but he was never shocked 또는 surprised. When I got to the last bit about my dream his eyes wide as an owls, but after he took it in he got over it.
"Zane I have a 질문 I have been wanting to ask you"
"Go ahead"
"Did 당신 know any of the Cullens?" he stopped breathing and then calmed down a little.
"Yes, we lived with them for a while but Mark decided to 옮기기 on so we followed. They have been out of town for atleast a 년 now."
"So they are real" I gawked
"You seem surprised" he asked
"Well this stuff just isn't real"
Zane laughed and then the door creaked opened. I was Samarah.
"Umm, Steph your Dad is on the phone"
she said confused.
I totally forgot my dad. I glanced at the clock it was 6:30am. I grabbed the phone and slowly placed it on my ear.
"Hi dad"I was scared
"You sound scared what is wrong"
I sighed"I thought 당신 were going to be angry"
"It's alright Samarah filled me in. I need to talk to 당신 can 당신 come 집 please." he pleaded
"Yea sure thing Dad"
"Could 당신 come soon please"
"I guess so"
"Thanks"
Before I could even respond he hung up. I gave the phone back to Samarah.
"He wants me to come 집 now." I repeated to Zane.
"Ok" he said awkwardly.
"he said it was important"
I got dressed and grabbed the things Samarah and Katelyn brang me. Then we were off to my house. When we got inside Dad, Carlie and Xaviour were sitting at the dining table. I quickly sat down and tried to be serious.
"Stop laughing Steph" dad scoffed
"Sorry what is so important"
"Your mother Renee just called and told me some news"
"Mom rang! When?"
"That dosen't matter, what matters is that your adopted"
I could litterally feel steam coming out of my ears.
"Dad stop joking around" I said
"I'm being serious. Your real dads name is Charlie Swan."
It felt like my 심장 stopped beating like the whole world stopped moving. I gasped. I heard the others muttering to themselves.
"Are. You. Serious?" I stuttered
"Yes and he lives here in Forks"
"Does he know"
"Yea I think so"
I had to meet him, I flew outside and started my car.
"Steph this is where he lives" he handed me a sheet of paper with the adress. I sped off to my new dad my real dad.
I pulled into the white, two story house. His police 순양함, 크루저 was in the driveway. I got out and slowly approached the door and knocked lightly. I heard him coming to the door. I took in a deep breathe and let it out slowly. The door creaked open and he just stared at me.
"hey" I said nervously.
"Can I help you"
"Charlie 백조 Right"I asked
"Yep"
"I'm your daughter Stephanie Swan"
"oH YEA renee told me about you"
I wanted to hug him but it would feel a bit awkward. I looked at his face, his beautiful 초콜릿 brown eyes, just like mine. He had some locks of curls in his hair just like me. I felt right at home.
"Come in, I made up your room" he smiled
"I haven't seen 당신 since 당신 were four" the smile turning to a frown.
I walked in and walked up the stairsand into my room.
"It used to be Bellas room but since she got married to Edward she dosen't live here of course"
"Yea Pete told me about her before. I heard they moved out of town luckily 당신 have me." I giggled
"No, they still live here just out of town."
"Oh well I hope to meet them"
"I'll take 당신 now if 당신 would like!" he said enthusiastically.
"Umm I think I'll wait. I need to go see Peter and grab all my stuff."
"Sure, how about this afternoon"
"Sounds good, I'll see 당신 then."
Charlie was very estatic about my arrival and I was happy to be in my real 집 at once I always felt out of place. I said goodbye to Charlie and drove off to Peters. I walked in and it was quiet. Peter was the only one to see me.
"Hey honey" he said sadly
"Hey"
"what are 당신 going to do" he didn't look at me.
"I'm going to live with Charlie. I'm sorry."
"Don't say sorry its not your fault"
"Thankyou for everything I promise to vist"
I kissed him and hugged him and then looked around for Carlie and Xaviour.
"They aren't here they left to Port Angeles a couple of 분 ago."
"Thats alright I'll see them another day. I have to quickly grab my stuff"
"I already done that they are near the door"
"Thankyou for everything I 사랑 you"
"Love 당신 too"
I waved to him and then drove away. I decided to cruise around town for a while to take this all in.
After an 시간 of driving around I decided to head back to Charlies house. When I got there he was waiting outside. He walked yo my window.
"We can go now" he was excited.
"sure I'll drive"
He got in the passenger side and we sped off to my new sisters house.
Charlie pointed to show me where to go. As we drove down the windy narrow road. We turned off into a road surrounded 의해 trees. The I saw the house, It was beautiful. The glass windows shimmered in the sun. I parked my car infront of the 차고 and slowly got out as I gazed at the extravagent house. Charlie laughed and then walked around the house to the front door. Before he could knock on the door a gorgeous guy opend it he had beautiful blobde hair and topaz eyes. He welcomed Charlie in. I walked to the gorgeous guy.
"Hi, I'm Carlisle, welcome to our house. Why don't 당신 come in" his sweet voice was making me dizzy.
"Thankyou I'm Steph"
I walked in and gawked at the inside. It was even 더 많이 beautiful than the outside. I walked in and looked at all the stuff and antiques they had, then two people came in view. They walked over, hand in hand. The guy was cute he had honey blonde hair and chalky skin. The girl was short; she had short spiky brown hair and was very angelic with her walk and posture.
“Hi I’m Alice and this Jasper” she hugged me and then smiled. I smiled back, I had nothing to say I was speechless.
“You look just like your sister”
“When do I get to meet her” I asked.
“Soon we promise”
Two other people came walking in, hand in hand.
“Steph this is Emmett and Rosalie”
“Wow she is like her sister” the guy Emmett laughed and it filled the whole house. Emmett was huge and he looked very strong, and the girl Rosalie was beautiful she had long blonde hair that reached her waist.
We were all silent and then Carlisle and (obviously his wife) walked in.
“Steph this is Esme my wife and this is Bella and Edward.” Carlisle said.
Behind him and his wife, a beautiful girl and a handsome guy walked in hand in hand. They were amazing I couldn’t stop staring 또는 keep my mouth closed.
“She is your sister I can’t read her mind” Edward said to Bella. Everyone gasped. I forgot that Edward could read minds. Some of the others had a special power to, Alice could tell the future, and Jasper could control emotions. Bella was this type of shield she could shield anyone around her from any mental sort of power. Her daughter had a power of telling someone what she thinks, wait where was Renesmee.
“Hi I’m Steph” I walked over to her and hugged her. It was awkward, but it felt nice.
There was suddenly an awkward silence.
“Am I an Aunty” I blurted out.
“What?”
“Don’t 당신 have a daughter Renesmee?”
“What, how did 당신 know?” she asked shocked
“Well I have read these series of 책 and they are pretty much about your life. I know what 당신 all are. I won’t tell anyone though, I promise.”
“But if they are 책 won’t everyone else know well those who have read the books” Carlisle asked
“Yea but they wouldn’t know 당신 really exist”
“Alice did 당신 see this” Carlisle questioned her.
“Yes I did but I had the same theories as Steph, no one would really know we exist”
“No one else can know 또는 else we could end up having another brawl with the Volturi” Carlisle turned around and walked up the stairs. I stared at Bella and Edward holding hands, staring deeply into each other’s eyes.
