I'm a Twilight 팬 myself, but this HAS to be said.

Since the movie came out, did 당신 see a significant rise of it's 팬 on Fanpop? I did. It jumped alot. My 질문 is, and maybe I'm wrong, are some of the new 팬 for the story 또는 for the hot vampires/werewovles?

I can see why Twilight can be hated, even though I am a fan. Some Twilight 팬 are nuts. They scream "OMG I 사랑 EDWARD CULLEN?JACOB BLACK!!!!!!!!!!!!" Not that that isn't true, but is that all there is in Twilight? Do those 'fans' care for the story at all? At first, I thought it would pass, but it's gotten pretty bad where I'm embarrassed to come out and say I 사랑 Twilight. And I'm not saying there are those type of 팬 on here, but I'm talking about everywhere. Recently, the 신고 and pictures of Rob being strangled 의해 that girl, who btw had Kristen's look-alike-shirt and rayban sunglasses, and was seen with bodyguards, trying to outrun the mob of people in NYC. 팬 like that give us normal 팬 a bad name. People think Twilight 팬 are insane. Some of them are to be perfectly honest.

Does no one 사랑 the story? Hot vampires/werewolves was not why Stephenie Meyer wrote the story. And that's not why the 영화 were made. They were wrote/made because the story can teach many life lessons. It incorpirates many lessons we can learn and consists real of human feelings. It's not about the hot guys 또는 the physical appeal of the characters. It's about the story. That's what makes a 팬 dedicated. When they don't go on about a character's looks and about what the characters characteristics are. Its about what the character does and thinks, not what the character looks like.

I'm sorry if this affends anyone, but this must be said. Twilight haters hate these kind of 'fans', 또는 they're just stupid and have no life. But I can understand why some of them hate Twilight. Some 'fans' are beyond ridiculous.

amandaj I love the Twilight Series for the story, not for the hot actors portraying the characters in the movie. Like you said: its about what the character does and thinks, and that's what matters to me. Not their looks. And yes, I can see why some people see Twilight fans as crazy, because some people are a little over the top :P

Author15 i love the story,that is what got me so interested in the series. the series has great story lines. and yes i think the guys are hot, but that is not all i talk about. i think the story is one of the best stories out there. i think some fans who are so crazy should just calm down a little bit.

Edward_Bella234 Sure the story had hot guys but that is not why I am obssesed with it. Its a very small part of the reason. I like it because i can so easily get in Bella's shoes and live her life. Imagine seeing the world from her eyes is simple the way Twilight is written. Its a very well written story that is why [i]i[/i] like it so much. I agree that some fans take the Twilight obsession [i]way[/i] to far!

I agree with you completley, I want to go back to the time when I joined fanpop this spot had like 800 fans, and I used to ask my friends to read Twilight to have someone to talk about it, they say they wouldn't read vampire stories, and now that they saw the movie they are asking me for the books.

liv711 I hate twilight for just same thing you have mentioned. girls everywhere screaming how is edward cullen hot and how they love him. i cant listen to that anymore and it made me to hate the whole twilight thing. maybe the story is good but I havent time to mention that. one time I didnt know about any twilight series and then came people totally obsessed with edward and everything about him that I just couldnt like it.

ToyletGnome I'm an anti-Twilighter and I've read the series twice. Can you just explain, what are the life lessons Twilight teaches? The rabid fangirls obviously don't do any good for the series' reputation, by they're not the reason I hate Twilight. The plot is boring and predictable, it glorifies paedophilia, abuse, stalking and shallowness, the protagonist is a whiny Mary-Sue and a self-insert of the author, the characters are one-dimensional, the books are full of grammatical errors and continuity failures, there's a description of Edwards beauty in just about every second sentence, Meyer has no idea what the word "masochistic" means, I could go on forever. Anyway, the fangirls aren't even a reason for me, they're just the cherry on top of the cake of reasons I'm on Team Tyler's Van.

Oh wait - it does. ;) It teaches people to ride motorcycles and jump off cliffs because your boyfriend broke up with you, and so you can hear his voice. 'Even in the [Wizarding] World, hearing voices isn't a good thing.' In all the books, the same thing happens. This is true, just read the books and see for yourself! Bella whines a lot, as mentioned, always about how gorgeous Edward is, and how she will never be as pretty. The words that are really repeated are 'hard and cold' or 'granite' or even 'male model,' right? If you read the books carefully you can spot the mistakes. Some words are spelled wrong and missing, or perhaps a letter is missing in the word etc [Twilight] 'umidity,' there is no thrill or action until the very end of the books, apart from Breeding Spawn, where there is no action at all. Bella Swan gets everything she wants, Edward, Jacob, 'Nessie,' being a Vampire, being a Cullen, and her friends at school. Did you notice how she always asks something from her friends, they give it to her, and then she blows them off for Edward! And did you notice how she falls in love with Edward even though he's horrible to her? In Old Moon, Edward leaves her, Jacob is nicer to her, then she jumps off a cliff, and Edward tries to kill himself. She saves his life. I'm not saying she shouldn't have done that, I'm saying after saving the 'Vampire' she should have been with Jacob. It would have been better for [i]her[/i] but of course, [i]she[/i] doesn't care care as long as she's with [i]perfect, sparkling 'Vampire' Edward![/i].

DracoGirl29 I agree with harrypotterbest I asked two girls in my class why they think Twilight is good one said "Cuz' Edward's fit!" The other said "Nah, it's all about Jacob - he's gorgeous!" Thats all Twi-hards seem to really care about. And I thought all 4 books were poorly written. Stephenie Meyer claims that the picture cover on Breaking Dawn represents Bella and her starting off being the pawn then ending up being the queen. Seriously? Bella was weak, lifeless, and dull throughout the series. She automatically went out with a sparkling stalker who watches her sleep every night? I mean cmon! And since when do vampire sparkle?

Okay, i started 읽기 twilight-in like-july 또는 june-i got hooked.then i got new moon, eclipse, ect. ect. but main thing is, why the hell are we soooo attached? i mean last 월 i read this book "The lightning theif" which 의해 the way is pretty good, but i couldnt stop comparing the charactors to the ones in twilight! like Annabeth in the lightning theif has long blonde curly hair and grey eyes-(daughter of Athena)so i think of Tanya- so i put the book down get up and get breaking dawn-what im saying here is, is twilight ruining our 읽기 experience? 또는 making it better? 당신 decide.

Midnight Sun: HOW COULD THEY!

I have recently visited Stephenie's Official site. I have become indefinitaly horrified.

Midnight Sun has been postponed indefinitaley.

Because stupid wh*r*es have 게시됨 up the beloved work of Midnight Sun that Stephenie had given them with trust.

I am completely speechless with anger and sadness.

But, thankfully, and unfortunately, Stephenie has 게시됨 up the whole rough draft that was incomplete onto her Official site. I can't believe who would be so cruel as to not even care about the author's right and post up Midnight Sun with no authorization.

I deeply regret what has happened. I can't even imagine how hurt Mrs. Meyer is, but I hope she can come back from this awful experience.
