Why when, in Twilight, when James bites Bella and Edward wants to save her, why doesnt Carlisle suck out the venom instead of Edward? Wasn't it safer?

Because he was stopping Bella from bleeding out. He was make sure she didnt loose all her blood. And he couldn't do both at the same time. And with Edward doing it showed how much he cared about her. Hope this answered your question.

Carlisle was busy stopping her bleeding to death. Edward could have done that too, but bella needed him there as she felt like she was dying. if edward wasnt there carlisle wouldv'e tryed to stop her bleeding over sucking the venom out- he would have let the change happen. since edward was there carlisle was giving him the choice. He had to make the choice of whether to let bella become a vampire 또는 not, he did not want to "destroy her soul" so he chose to keep her human. besides, carlisle knew how much edward loverd bella and knew he would never kill her. he knew edward could do it!

i have wondered the same thing from the first time i read the book. i think carlisle should have been the one to suck the venom out because it would have been 더 많이 easily for him and bella.

i think sense edward is carlisles son and bella is edwards girlfreind it would be nice to let edward do it instead of calisle

Carlisle has never drank human blood in his life. So if he did save her he might actually kill her , besides he can control himself ONLY when someone is bleeding.
