뱀파이어 and mirrors...

In the Phoenix scene in the ballet studio, we see James in the mirrors. We know that 뱀파이어 in Twilight do show up in mirrors, but in Bella's dream at the start of New Moon, she's standing in front of a mirror with her arm around Edward...But Edward doesn't show up in the mirror. Is that just Bella forgetting that Edward shows up in mirrors, 또는 a mistake?

Well, it's just a dream and in most legends, 뱀파이어 don't show up in mirrors and I think it was supposed to add to the scariness of the dream (for Bella, I mean)

It's just her dream. If I remember correctly, the book describes her dream with Bella looking into the mirror, seeing herself as an older woman.

The reflection of the mirror represents Bella's fear of Edward not being with her when she is older. Therefore, he doesn't show up in the mirror with the older Bella.

Young Bella with Edward looking into the mirror is "what was happening in the present." She's young for now, and Edward is with her, but in the future, she fears he won't be interested in her anymore.

The absence of his reflection doesn't have anything to do with the vampire myth. It has to do with Bella's fear.

Yep I agree...it was just part of her dream.

Alittle off the subject but I watched a movie...cant remember what it was called...but the vampire in it said that most of the signs that proves someone one was vampire...were made up 의해 뱀파이어 so that the humans wouldnt suspect them...like 당신 were a vampire if 당신 didnt have a reflection...like 당신 were a vampire if crosses affected you...like 당신 were a vampire if 당신 had to sleep in a coffin...all made up 의해 vampires. Smart vampires...love that! lol
