I think most of my ships fall into this category, but I also have a lot of ships that fall into the other categories. I hardly have any fluffy ships, though.

I see so many people talk about their "type" of ships but I think I have several types....probably more "not my types" than "types" if that makes any sense. I have my type of TV shows which is shows with some type of fantasy/sci-fi/superhero element and I fall for ships on those so they usually have things like star-crossed, angst, dark, etc. I don't know how often I would go for the fluffy feel good. Sometimes I do for the right pairing if the chemistry and stuff is right and the writers know how to keep it interesting but often those can easily bore me.

I don't think I've ever consciously shipped something just because the writers don't want me to. Ugh, but so often I DO end up shipping pairings that I know better that the writers won't go for. It's not on purpose though. I feel like so many writers miss great potential pairings because they are so set on one idea or they're worried about how their ratings will be affected if they make the controversial or oddball or left field pairing get together.

Oh, I did mention one thing on tumblr yesterday...I do kind of have a thing for age differences (so many on tumblr talk about height differences but that's never done anything for me).

I'm such a dork that I literally have a list of over 100 ships I love and scrolling through there really aren't too many similarities they all have. One thing more and more of the ones I'm starting to ship lately DO have in common though? They're chances of becoming canon are hopeless :(

Of course I ship couples with all those different types but i'm mostly drawn to this one.
