CRITIQUES:
1. Katie! This shot is stunning, although it's simple it fits the brief perfectly. It's not overdone or overposed, it just seems natural which is great!
2. Bridgette. Alot like Katie's it works because it seems so natural, you've obviously listened to the brief which is good. The only down side is your hand on the right seems a little miss placed, it just seems to be lying there.
3. Izzy. This shot seems playful which I like, your face falls flat for me however, you look like you're in pain. While your body is a little plain jane compared to what you've brought to the shoot in the past.
4. Courtney. I think you've taken a risk here and I'm not sure it's worked. This was not the shoot for a back pose, as the wings have overpowered the shot and we lose your body. On the plus side it fits the brief and your face looks good.
5. Eva. Hmm, everything in this photo is meh to me. The hand behind the wing seems awkward, you haven't really shown off your legs much, your face is blank. I do like the tilt forward in your upper body which sort of fits the brief.
6. Heather. Eh, this shot is alright. You've filled the brief, but it seems a bit basic. Your face isn't amazing, it's more deer in headlights than anything. But your body, especially your legs, look amazing!
7. Lindsay. This shot would've been first callout material, however you're not even looking at the moon. The brief was HYPNOTISED by THE MOON! And when you aren't even looking at the moon it's a bit unbelievable. However the pose is excellent, I really like it.
ELIMINATED: Gwen. This shot doesn't fit the brief at all. You don't even notice the moon, the brief is the most important part of the shoot, if you don't fill the brief your client won't use your photo at all. However your legs are nicely placed, the face is very dear in headlights...and your arms are alright I suppose.
