With further research, it was learned that Louis had bought the Hope Diamond (a supposedly cursed blue diamond) for his wife, Marie Antoinette.
It was then mentioned in the beginning of the movie 의해 Brock Lovett that the French Blue Diamond of the Crown (aka Hope Diamond) was cut into a piece resembling the shape of the heart. So, basically, the fictional 심장 of the Ocean was cut from the genuine Hope Diamond. However, even though the Diamond was cut into pieces after Louis meets his end at the scaffold during the French Revolution, James Cameron created the 심장 of the Ocean, so that it is sadly not real.
