Tom Hiddleston has hinted the third Thor movie, Ragnarok, will be his last outing as Loki.
The actor, currently starring in High Rise, has said this will be the final time he slaps on the black hair dye and gold plating after starring as Thor’s rival in previous Marvel flicks The Avengers and Thor: The Dark World.
The Daily Beast: ‘Thor 3 will be cool because I’ve not done it for four years. I love working with Chris [Hemsworth]. This will be my last time out of the gate.’
The heartthrob, who recently scored a bevy of new fans through BBC drama The Night Manager, added that he has no idea whether he’ll be in Avengers: Infinity War yet.
Either he’s bluffing or he definitely doesn’t know – in which case Loki must survive the third Thor film.
‘I don’t know! Honestly, I don’t know,’ he claimed. ‘They haven’t got their ducks in a row yet. They make it up as they go along.’
Maybe Mr H is not too bothered about the future of his Marvel career because he’s secretly the new James Bond.
The 35-year-old’s schedule of future projects is suspiciously vacant according to IMDB. Could he be stepping into Daniel Craig’s polished leather Derby shoes?
His main rivals for the coveted role are Tom Hardy, Idris Elba, Aidan Turner and Damian Lewis.
Thor: Ragnarok is due out in October 2017 and Avengers: Infinity War is due in May 2018.
