Lots of ships were unloading cargo at Mossberg Harbor. Much of it was for the Eastern Pacific, but a big chunk was also going to the Mossberg Narrow Gauge Railroad.

Adam: How are 당신 holding up with all this freight coming in?
Makenzie: Uh, we should be alright.
Casey Jones: If it gets to be too much, we can always borrow Jack The Truck.
Adam: True, but 당신 have another engine that's been on your line for a while now. What's her name?
Makenzie: Kelsey?
Adam: That's right.
Casey Jones: But I don't know if she'll be enough.
Makenzie: We may need yet another big engine to help us.

Episode 179: Lauren

Makenzie was unfortunately right about Kelsey. Despite her power, it still wasn't enough with all the freight they had to move.

Kelsey: *Backing up to a freight with five boxcars, two hoppers, three tankers, a flatcar carrying a woodchipper, and two 더 많이 boxcars with a caboose. All the cars are loaded, and heavy.*
Conductor: *Crosses his fingers*
Kelsey: All ready back there?
Conductor: Yeah, just don't repeat Hatti's failure when I had to conduct her train before your arrival.
Audience: *Laughing*
S.B: Oh my god, they're back!! *Runs out of his house*
Audience: *Laughing*
S.B: *Slides on his knees, and looks up at the sky* Where have 당신 guys been?!!?
Audience: *Laughing*
Conductor: We're getting off topic. We got a freight train to pull.
Kelsey: Signal's green, time to move. *Blows her whistle twice, and slips her wheels for two 초 without moving the train* I said, time to move! *Wheel slips for three 초 without moving the cars*
Conductor: Why me? Why do I always get the underpowered trains?!

Kelsey: *Wheelslips as she tries to pull her train* Uuuuh!!!
Hatti: *Pushing four gondolas as she stops 다음 to Kelsey* Kelsey! Let me help you!
Kelsey: *Stops her wheelslip* Okay. I can't seem to 옮기기 these cars no matter what I do.

Hatti backed up to Kelsey, and when the two engines were coupled on, they pulled with all their might.

Hatti: *Wheelslips for two seconds* Ah!!
Kelsey: *Wheelslips for three seconds* Ah!

The freight slowly began to move. Both engines were blushing as they continued their difficult task.

Hatti: *Wheelslips for three seconds*
Kelsey: We're getting the hang of it now.
Hatti: Acquiring 더 많이 speed.

When they arrived at the harbor, Mr. Wright was waiting for them. His megaphone stuck out of a nearby building.

Mr. Swanson: I hope you're doing okay Kelsey.
Kelsey: I felt like my boiler was going to explode.
Mr. Swanson: That's why I chose to get another new engine. You'll meet her tomorrow.

Tomorrow morning.

Mr. Swanson: Everyone, I have noticed that there's too much freight on our line. Even with Kelsey, there's still too much. Hopefully, this bigger engine will be enough to get things done around here.

A K36 Mikado soon appeared.


Lauren: Hello. My name's Lauren. Lauren T. Mikado.
Makenzie: What's the T stand for?
Lauren: Pardon?
Mr. Swanson: The time has now come for our work to be done. You'll all have your usual assignments. Lauren, your first train to take will include seven tankers, and five boxcars. Good luck.
Lauren: 당신 can count on me sir. *Leaves the roundhouse*

Dustin was switching cars. Makenzie backed up to a passenger train as Lauren backed up to her freight.

Lauren: Hey. Thanks for getting my train ready.
Dustin: *Staring at Lauren without saying anything*
Lauren: 당신 drifting off to space?
Dustin: You're sexy.
Makenzie: Dustin!
Lauren: Don't worry. I 사랑 when people call me that. That's why I have this makeup in the first place.
Signalman: Line's clear Lauren. You're good to go.

With her cylinder cocks shooting out plenty of steam, Lauren started pulling her freight. The freight train of 12 cars followed her without any problems.

Lauren: *Travelling 15 miles an 시간 with her train*
Kids: 저기요 look, a new engine! *Running towards Lauren while waving hello*
Lauren: *Blows her whistle twice*
Kids: *Cheering*
Lauren: *Looks back at her whistle* Never disappoints.

A few other engines were at Mossberg Harbor when Lauren arrived. She met Jazlin & Sean getting ready to double head a passenger train.

Jazlin: *Watching Lauren stop nearby with her freight* You're new. When did 당신 join?
Lauren: Just now. I've never seen a 담홍색, 핑크 pacific before.
Jazlin: 당신 like my paint?
Lauren: Sure. 당신 like my lip stick?
Sean: I do.
Jazlin: Same.
Lauren: Thank you.
Conductor: All aboard!
Jazlin: *Blows her whistle twice, and rings her bell*
Sean: *Pulling the train*
Jazlin: *Wheelslips as she pulls her train with Sean*

Lauren watched the standard gauge passenger train depart with 15 cars. Kelsey stopped 다음 to her with another freight.

Kelsey: Hello Lauren.
Lauren: Hello Kelsey.
Kelsey: Are 당신 enjoying your time here?
Lauren: I am. It's nice to be here.
Kelsey: I better get ready for a passenger train. If I can ever help 당신 with anything, just ask.
Lauren: I should be fine, but I'll remember that.

다음 day, Lauren was getting ready to pull another heavy freight. This time, she had five boxcars, three reefers, four hoppers, six tankers, and two flatcars. The flatcars are empty, but everything else is loaded.

Lauren: Let's get this load to the harbor. *Couples up to her freight, and opens her cylinder cocks*
Signalman: *Gives Lauren a green signal*
Lauren: *Wheelslips without moving anywhere* Ooh. This is gonna be harder than I thought. *Closes her cylinder cocks, and wheelslips again without moving her train*


Lauren tried again to 옮기기 her cars, but her wheels kept slipping. Luckily, Kelsey arrived.

Kelsey: Lauren, I'll come help you.
Lauren: *Panting* Thank you.

Once Kelsey was coupled on, moving the 20 car train was much easier.

Lauren: 당신 came at the right time. Thank you.
Kelsey: Like I said, if I can ever help 당신 with anything, just ask.

Mr. Swanson was once again sticking his 주황색, 오렌지 megaphone out of a building when he saw Kelsey and Lauren arrive with their train.

Mr. Swanson: Outstanding. I'm always glad to see my engines working together.
Lauren: I really thought I'd be able to manage alone, but I'm glad I got to work with Kelsey.
Kelsey: Feeling's mutual.
Mr. Swanson: Our freight traffic will be decreasing, but if 당신 two want to perform doubleheaders 더 많이 frequently, I'll line something up for you. And it won't be limited to freight.
Lauren: I would like to haul passengers.
Kelsey: I'm good with that too.
Mr. Swanson: Excellent. I'm sure the passengers will enjoy that too.
