No, she didn't mean to hurt him. When she said, "he's suffering," she meant just that. He wasn't dying, but he had his stomach clawed out and he was in a lot of pain. He couldn't 옮기기 또는 speak. He was physically suffering and the only way to end his suffering was to mercy-kill him, which is what she meant.
