Before 당신 call for our heads, Delena fans, hear us out. There doesn’t seem to be any stopping Elena (Nina Dobrev) and Damon (Ian Somerhalder) at the moment. They’ll clearly have some time to feel each other out (metaphorically and perhaps literally), but we wouldn’t count Stefan (Paul Wesley) as totally out of this 사랑 삼각형 just yet. 당신 know how
The Vampire Diaries adores it 사랑 geometry, and there are plenty of reasons Stelena 팬 should still have hope. It might not happen for a while, but we think eventually Stefan and Elena will give it another shot.

1. Stefan knows Elena...

I have said this for a very long time, but turning your humanity off in the TVD world is not changing into a a completely different person. It does not make 당신 the same as all other 뱀파이어 with their humanity off. 뱀파이어 who flipped the switch don’t all become some generic indivudal with the same wants, words, choices, ect. The switch has a different effect on everyone because the people flipping it are different in personality, dark desires, and actions.

#1 Because they're unique - A witch and a vampire have never been done before

While certainly a shallow reason it seems to be a huge one. It's true that supernatural/folklore TV shows/books tend to do the same things over and over again, but whose to say The Vampire Diaries hasn't done something 'unique' already in regards to the two mains in their ship? Lets look it over..
