There is a Meredith but she is a doctor and is not really Elena 또는 Bonnie's best friend 또는 any thing she's like an adult and so far I've gotten near the end of season 3. And there is a Meredith like I said before but not the same one as the book. I think Caroline has been replaced 의해 Meredith in a way I mean shes not meant to track vamps coz she is one but she's like the third bf other two being Bonnie and Elena and anyways the 책 are soooo much 더 많이 different than the episodes and I prefer the episodes.
