Arekkusu K. follows Kyle, Alice, and Abyss. Suddenly he's stopped by some kind of invisible wall.
Voice: We seek to educate both of your species...
Arekkusu K.: What the hell? I go to school for that... Who are you!?!
Voice: In time Arekkusu Kuratchi...
Arekkusu K.: Well... At least show yourself!
Voice: Soon... Come now, we're already behind schedule.
Arekkusu K. and Ica dissapear in a ring of light.
(my choice for the opening song. Hope ya's like Finger 11)

Mana[cat-form] mews softly and struggles out of Eddie's grasp, hitting him in the face several times with her tail before falling to the floor, and a floating message appears in the air in front of Eddie at eye level. The message reads "I happen to be a female.". Mana then jumps onto Shinku's head where she sits down looking in Eddie's direction.

Eddie: The cat can write... Sorry about that girl.

Just then a few deformed looking soul reapers walk out of the surrounding buildings and head towards the group.
Sylvia: Um... Kyle?

Kyle appears in front of them and looks... And the soul reapers suddenly stare at Sylvia.
Kyle: This isn't right...
The soul reapers drag their legs and start to drool...

Aether takes a paper-wrapped sandwich out of his pouch. Lithelle eyes the sandwich hungrily. Aether, noticing Lithelle eyeing the sandwich, takes a chicken leg the size of his arm to Lithelle, who quickly takes it and scarfs it down with unnerving speed.

Sylvia: They look like zombies.
The first soulreaper of the pack flashsteps to the side of Sylvia and goes to bite her, but Kyle cut it's head off.

Ritsuka doesn't leave but Soubi grabs his arm and starts running in the other direction, Youji and Natsuo following behind.
Soubi: Your only a sacrifice Ritsuka.
Abyss's scythe appears and she runs at the soul reaper zombies.

Kyle:*keeps slicing more zombie soul reaper zombies and more keep coming* They're coming from the direction we need to go.
two more zombies cut off Natsuo and the others.

(If they weren't zombies they'd look like this)

The two soulreaper zombies standing in front of the others unsheathe their blades and charge at Natsuo and Ritsuka.

Shinku: i know what Lily did... but for some reason, i don't want to leave this place. besides, it's my fault she lost control... if it wasn't because of me being reborn within Mina, she wouldn't be angry now.

Sylvia: They're everywhere!
Kyle: I know... We need to find a place to get away from them. It appears some of them kept their abilities.

Shinku: i wouldn't worry about it... she's been through the same thing i went through. her lonely child died... but she was turned into a human and was stripped of her memories. she used to be a very good person... she wants that to be what she is again. she promised to leave us alone.
