Here's some stuff I remembered seeing:
'The Originals': Julie Plec blogs [SPOILER]'s return
There’s nothing the Mikaelsons love more than a good meal … filled with threats, booze, blood, and ridiculous amounts of food. We learned that even in the
, Klaus and Elijah are ready for yet another epic meal, this time complete with Tristan, Lucien, and Aurora.
Yep, it’s time for the mini-Mikaelsons to meet the Mikaelsons for dinner, so we chatted with Joseph Morgan about what fans can expect from the hour, not to mention the man responsible for all of these amazing meals.
ENTERTAINMENT WEEKLY: So I’m not sure if Aurora taking Rebekah’s body proves that she’s trustworthy or the exact opposite. Does Klaus trust her at this point?
JOSEPH MORGAN: I guess in her twisted little mind she’s taken Rebekah for safekeeping and possibly saved her from a worse fate. But she’s also now using Rebekah as a pawn in this game. We already saw her manipulate him going, “Nothing will happen to Rebekah as long as you do what I say so come back to bed.”
Let’s see how far she goes with it. I think his mind’s going a mile a minute now and I think he’s equal parts impressed and utterly betrayed and vengeful. It just seems like something he would do, and I think he can’t believe that he’s been Klaus’d.
] I think they were on the path to regaining some trust and rekindling some romance it seemed and I think that put the brakes on and now he’s in full plotting mode.
Yeah but you wouldn’t love it if there wasn’t the harsher side, you know? You can’t have the rainbow without the rain. That’s why when people ask me which side of Klaus do you prefer, I take him as a whole. I accept him as a whole being in all of his fury and childlike innocence. I think he’s an extreme. He’s a person under a magnifying glass. The whole idea that vampires have exaggerated emotions, I feel like I took that and ran with it with this character.
] That’s really who he is. That’s what’s so fun about playing him.
So this week is Thanksgiving dinner. I always wonder who cooks these meals?
We put a line in — I don’t know if it will stay in the cut — about how Klaus has made the stuffing. That’s his contribution. [Daniel] Gillies and I love to have fun with some of the dialogue and play around a little bit and sometimes they allow us to do stuff and we always wonder what will make the cut because we’ll go too far if they let us. So there may or may not be a line about Klaus making the stuffing and Elijah’s opinion on that stuffing.
I also like to believe that there’s some butler who spends a lot of time shopping, buying whiskey and candles. He goes into a room and lights all these beautiful candles and then scurries out just before our heroes enter and have a huge dramatic argument. And then [he] comes out and laboriously puts out each of the candles after they’ve left the room and fills up the whiskey decanters. It’s a thankless job and one day there will be an episode of
that just follows him, sort of like
That’s such an accurate shopping list: Whiskey and candles.
I mean that’s really all they need. That’s all they do, isn’t it? Drink whiskey and light a

And these people … I know they can’t be killed by fire, but it does hurt them.
I know! And they just leave them burning there. I’m determined to create this character who scurries through the rooms putting them out, like, “Ugh the non-safety conscious Mikaelsons, how many times have I told you sir, don’t leave the candles burning!” [
I feel like we should name him. What should we name him?
I don’t know I was just thinking that. I was thinking about some sort of classic butler name like Jeeves or Alfred, who’s Batman’s butler. If you come up with something good, then please let me know. I don’t want to do him a disservice because he does so much for the Mikaelsons.
Okay, let’s talk about this weapon that the Trinity has. Because Elijah, Klaus, and Rebekah all have to be in one place for it to work, is it going to bring them together or split them up?
Well Aurora is in possession of Rebekah’s body so the balls really in her court as far as getting us together, but if anything, they feel like we need to stand together. They’re confident, the Mikaelson brothers, perhaps too confident at times, but yeah if anything this has caused them to put their past grievances to one side at least for the moment and to stand united.
Certainly Klaus’. It’s like, “There’s a terrible painful end somewhere for you and it’s going to be your own fault and you should’ve seen it coming.” I feel like that would be Elijah’s last line to him: “Told you.”
Or the butler’s, yeah! It’s not his place though, you know what I mean? He’s just trying to do his job and make an honest living and feed his kids. Bless him. [
I love that this weapon is a medallion. Couldn’t it look a little more threatening?
Yeah I agree. There’s so many different MacGuffins that you have to try and create. I think it would look least threatening on a big gold chain hanging over Elijah’s chest wig.
It could’ve perhaps been something slightly more threatening, but I’ll tell you this: At least it doesn’t look like a bloody bar of soap. Remember the moonstone? I mean they actually hid the moonstone in a basket of soap. I shot a scene in Hayley’s apartment and there were some very familiar looking gold coasters and I thought, we could just bloody hide it there with the gold coasters, no one would know. [
