더 오피스 I'm watching the pilot of The UK Office right now...

And it's almost scary how similar it is to the American once!

Jan -> Jennifer
Tim -> Jim
Look at the names!
And Dawn is pretty much a blonde Pam.
And there's a big guy and a little woman in accounting (Angela & Kevin).
Wow, we did really well copying them!
Although the guy who plays the character that Dwight was based after looks like a ghost!

However, it's all British-y... And that makes me not get some of it. xD

That's how I felt when I first watched that episode, It was hard for me to understand everything they said. :/

I saw the British Office first. I'm SO in love with it.
They're pretty different (besides the pilot), I say don't try to compare them it's not really fair because the British has a different sense of humour and yeah the character's turn out to be fairly different too.
But I think it's just genius! So enjoy!!

The US Office completely copied the first few episodes from the UK version, which may be befuddling because it might make you want to compare them. But the characters are so, SO different. They are their own shows and should be appreciated on separate levels.

Anyway, enjoy Ricky Gervais' absolute comic genius and the lovely, lovely Tim/Dawn relationship! :D <3
