Well, apparently to The Walt Disney Company Kopa's just as important part of the story as is your non-profit fanfiction OC character. As in, not important at all.

Hence:

1. They denied him in every which way from the movie universe.
2. They've never talked about Kopa nor made anything out of him.
3. They released the "Kopa books" only in USA and never reprinted them.

I hate to be the "dream killer" but it's screaming obvious that they don't care about Kopa nor think of him as part of the story at all.

So I'm basically saying: Kopa fans, don't hold your breath and don't get your hopes up high.

No, only because the storyline would be a little strange. When Kiara is the only cub in the movie universe. Film makers never mentioned about him, anyways. If there was another cub it would have been a cub named Chaka. But Chaka was written out, and they only stick with Kiara. unless Kopa existed after Kiara marries Kovu. But Simba and Nala maybe a bit too old for another cub.
