At the bottom of the hill...
Following includes:
Opinion and language

We all saw when Simba and Nala rolled down the 언덕, 힐 right? Well thats the thing. It looked as if Walt diseney puts secret things inside the movie but no one even notices.

Was Nala actually in heat? Well I think so because her eyes tell the whole story and sex is written all over simba. On 팬 fiction they make simba 더 많이 drunk and Nala is grumpy and shes the one I would Think I'm ok with. She's usually 더 많이 entergetic tho.

I've always loved the Lion King! I can even roar like a professional. Several people taught me. At first, I just shouted the word "ROAR!", but once I learned how to do it realistically (sort of), now there's no stopping me! I've used my roar many times, mostly when I watch the 영화 and 비디오 on the Internet. I'm worried about using it out of anger, though, as I might upset someone. I had a dream once where Mufasa and Simba told me I had a powerful roar. I don't know if it was from my watching too much Lion Guard 또는 a message from God. Probably both.

I love this poster.
Hi guys, I 사랑 this film from the bottom of my heart, so I'll 글쓰기 a short review about the film as well as the musical scores and the songs of the legendary film that brought us together.

The Story

Based on Shakepeare's Hamlet, Prince of Denmark. The story has provides moral values that we learn in our lives as we grow up, the first one is the put your past behind 당신 and yes, it DOES hurt sometimes. But, we all change it and that we need to improve the future!
The film also promotes parental love, yes we make mistakes in our lives and we learn from it. I truly appreciate that! I was also very sad that Mufasa was killed 의해 his wicked brother, Scar who usurps the 왕좌, 왕위 successfully. But Scar pays a price when the hyenas turn their backs on him 의해 murdering him after the former betrays them.

The Musical Scores & Songs

I 사랑 the songs because it introduces me to African 음악 and it will teleport me to Africa! I hope to see the musical soon, one of the most scariest and dramatic musical scores is 'King of Pride Rock', the first half was scarier as if it was a haunted mansion theme 음악 or...

Yes, I know in some cases these people aren't critisising the character so much as the people who wrote him. But I can't defend all the people who have developed Simba at The Walt 디즈니 Company because some of them really messed up, so that 제목 will have to do.

Confused Matthew on YouTube and some others criticise that SImba's adult version is completely unrelated to the child version of him. Essentially that his character development was abandoned in the middle of the film. Also, when reviewing "The Lion Guard: Return of the Roar", most seem to label Simba as a racist because he disapproves of Kion's choice of the Guard members who are not lions. (By the way, that would actually be a species...ist and not a racist. But I personally don't think he's either.) Anyway, and they say that that's wrong because SImba should know better having been "raised 의해 a meerkat and a warthog".

I totally disagree on all those matters.

Simba had no chance to develop as a person because Timon and Pumbaa kept him from maturing what with their immature Hakuna Matata life philosophy while he also suffered deep depression and guilt through all those...

I think everyone who has seen "The Lion King" and "The Lion King 2: Simba's Pride" 영화 can agree that "The Lion Guard" doesn't do
a very good job with fitting in there. I have only seen all of "The Return of the Roar" and several clips from some other episodes. But that's enough to conclude that this TV show fails miserably as a Lion King series. I'm sure the majority of my fellow Millenials from this fanbase agree with me, but I know there are Lion King 팬 who nonetheless enjoy and 사랑 this new series. 팬 who don't think it sucks. Good for you, guys, if 당신 can find something to enjoy in it. 당신 manage to be much happier than the rest of us. So, I respect your opinion and feelings but allow me to explain why I think this show sucks. And what that big fat 'but' in the 제목 is all about.

"The Lion Guard" adds magical superpowers and mythos that doesn't fit in the world of those first two films. In "The Lion King" and "The Lion King 2" the only magic that happened was Rafiki being able to summon Mufasa's spirit and talk to that spirit. It was spiritual and very specific kind of magic and the only character who was able to practice it was Rafiki who...

Remember who you are!
Hi guys, I will be doing another comparison between 2 movies. Only this time, it is the Lion King and Titanic. Two highest grossing films of our generations!

The Lion King

This was the very first movie that I watched and I 사랑 all of the songs. However, the story is based on Shakespeare's Hamlet: Prince of Denmark. Unlike the latter, Mufasa's death is really graphic that I feel disturbed about it and hearing Mufasa's scream down to his death if I were in Simba's place!
Scar is portrayed as a paranoid psychopath, whenever somebody mention his dead brother. He will flies into rage! In fact, he reminds me of Caledon Hockley in Titanic. I will be talking about that later, Simba is of course a carbon copy of Hamlet, and he also sees his dad's spirit later in the movie. It was a very motivational and moving scene that I cried my 심장 out!
Unlike The Lion King, Hamlet has a sad ending in which the 제목 character dies after he fights with his uncle. Before this, he tells Horatio to fulfill his responsibilities as King of Denmark and rule the country peacefully.

The King has Returned.
Hi guys, since my Beauty and the Beast: Film vs Musical made it on the front page. Now, it's the Lion King's turn to write about, since I only got the movie soundtrack version. I will also write the musical version too.

The Movie Version

Okay, I grew up with this movie since my childhood days, I 사랑 the song and got the soundtrack for the film. My favourite score is 'Under the Stars', because the 음악 is soothing before gradually becoming 더 많이 inspirational, African style!
I 사랑 the story very much as it introduces me about African culture, that I had always wanted to go to South Africa one day. It also teaches me about leaving the past behind!

The Musical Version

While the story-line remains the same, there are some additional songs that I really 사랑 and they are They Live in 당신 and Endless Night. The former was in the Lion King 2: Simba's Pride as it's intro, what a great way for a movie introduction!

Hakuna Matata.
Hi everyone, I just want to say before 겨울왕국 came into the picture. The Lion King had a number of things that taught me while I first watch this movie many years ago, here they are.

Let it Go!

Yes, the Lion King had actually taught us to let go of our past. It also taught me to improve my future along the way while learning from my mistakes in life, our life is full of ups and downs.

Parental Love

It also promotes about loving your parents like Simba and Mufasa did, I really 사랑 my parents despite that we do not agree on a number of things, especially with my relationship with my mother.

The 원, 동그라미 of Life

5 years ago, my favourite dog pet died unexpectedly and I was really sad over it. But I managed to let go of it because it's part of the 원, 동그라미 of Life, and I truly understood this line.

Thank 당신 Simba!

These are the 3 reasons on why the movie will always cherish in my heart. So, do 당신 agree?

The four.
Hi guys, I just downloaded this movie a few months 이전 after not seeing it in many years. There are certain things that I dislike that I would like to write it down here, so here we go.

The Story-line

The story was borrowed from another Shakespeare classic, Romeo and Juliet. While I think they kept the Shakespearean tradition going on, I personally felt that they should be 더 많이 original towards the story. The movie also left me a number of unanswered 질문 that I'm going to voice out.
Worse of all, they never explain how the Outlanders were banish as they were never introduce in the first movie at all! Secondly, how are they related to Scar? Especially Zira herself.
Also, where were the hyenas during this time? Did Simba banish them 또는 something? I guess not!

The Characters

While the characters are the same, the only disappointments are Zazu, Timon, Pumbaa and Rafiki. Why didn't Rowan Atkinson come back to voice Zazu? This I have always ask myself! Timon, Pumbaa and Rafiki had less screen-time too, I mean, isn't Rafiki suppose to be Simba's friend 또는 something?

Warning the following 기사 has things including:

Spoilers and Opinion

If 당신 haven't watched the movie I suggest leaving 또는 if you've seen the movie but can't understand that people are entitled to their own opinion then I also suggest leaving.

Also if 당신 see a word all in caps, I'm not yelling I'm just proving a point...

Enjoy :^)

I've watched the show, movie whatever with nervous expectations. I was worried that it may either rise the legendary franchise 또는 destroy it almost instantly. After watching I have mix emotions, Happy, sad, furious, disappointed and other emotions.

The only thing in the movie when I had the biggest smile that I had from the little movie is that; they kept a small clip of the classic soundtrack in the beginning (before it got to the edited part...) , the fact that Timon, Pumbaa, and Rafiki didn't lose their charm and the voices for both Pumbaa and Mufasa. That's really it.

Ok, when I found out that Kiara is a cub in The Lion Guard I didn't like it. Don't get me wrong. I am trying to make myself get used to the idea that Kion is a cub, not to mention the same age as Kiara according to what 디즈니 just said. Yes, he is the 초 born but maybe he was from the same litter (making kiara and kion twins). So yeah.. he was born after Kiara and as it turns out he is the same age as her (not a big 팬 of that either).
의해 the way yes he is the 초 born because -for the last time- there is no Kopa! :P
However! It makes scenes from the 초 movie not make any sense!

1. The Hyenas.
First of all according to the teaser there are hyenas in The Lion Guard while in 'Simba's Pride" Nuka clearly says "This place is even creepier since the hyenas ran off"'. I mean seriously? Did they totally forget about that? Yes I like the idea of hyenas being in this series but come on now..
(except if they ran off when both Kiara and Kion were teenagers? I don't know..)

Honestly I think Nala takes 더 많이 control of the Kingdom than Simba does. I mean, she doesn’t let him know that since she’s aware of Simba’s dire need to follow the in the footsteps of his father, but Simba is a very damaged and hotheaded lion that she balances out with her calmness and clearer thinking. So, Nala insists on following Simba everywhere and helping take care of Royal Duties so she can keep him grounded if things start getting out of hand with his emotions.

I did not write this. I though I would 업로드 it since I totally agree. Found this on Tumblr

I was answering a 질문 today under 포럼 because someone had asked "how we know so much about the characters and their back grounds?" Well I gave a pretty lengthy answer but it's worth mentioning again I think.

당신 see when you're as passionate about something as a die hard lion king 팬 당신 can understand where I am coming from. 당신 see these characters as real, even though 당신 know they aren't. It's about the extensive research into the minds and hearts of the characters we've come to know and love. I can't tell 당신 how many what if? Stories and scenarios I personally have come up with and also have read and 당신 know they always make sense in theory! But it's not the fact that it's not canon 또는 that they will never (sad to say) make another sequel as good as the first but it's the fact that us 팬 have something to hold on to.

Let's take Kopa for instance, yeah, yeah we all know he doesn't really exist according to film canon but! That doesn't mean he doesn't exist! He exists because someone thought it would be cool to make a a continuity where Simba has a son instead of a daughter. And the way I see it, is that it's just an alternate universe...

An archetype is a model device commonly used in media, and there are quite a few of them present in The Lion King. Sometimes archetypes are used to allow the viewer to make a better connection with a character 또는 narrative, sometimes they are used to symbolise something important, and sometimes they are used simply because it makes sense to do so. Here are just some of the archetypes used in the 1994 animated movie...

Reluctant Hero
This is, of course, Simba. The Reluctant Hero is a common archetype used in a lot of movies, and is normally the protagonist. Simba is the good guy and the rightful king to the Pridelands, even though for a large portion of his life he would rather leave the past behind him. It takes a lot of encouraging from other characters until he finally returns 집 and faces the antagonist Scar to take back his kingdom.

Wise Old Man
This character archetype is almost always present in a work that contains a Reluctant Hero, and acts as a guide 또는 mentor to them on their journey. The Lion King's Wise Old Man is Rafiki. While Rafiki is present a number of times throughout the film, his Wise Old Man role...

Rumours persist that 디즈니 intend to film all the old school animated 영화 as live-action remakes. If a Lion King remake is green lighted, here is how I think they should proceed:

1. Make an adaptation of the musical- with "The Madness of King Scar" intact. That song, along with the "One 의해 One" sequence, gives us a touch 더 많이 detail as to why the Pride Lands went to hell during Scar's time as king. The original movie is kind of like "Fuck you, The Pride Lands are falling because Scar is the bad guy!" whereas the MUSICAL establishes the fact that the hyenas are destroying the Pride Lands.

2. Utilise "He Lives In You". I can see Mufasa 노래 that.

3. Seeing the animal's faces 옮기기 is a little bit alienating. It's like watching the 개 talk in Snow Buddies. Maybe their lines could be like an inner monologue 또는 something. 당신 know like the Snake from Conan The Barbarian 또는 Wishbone from Wishbone.

4. DO NOT MAKE THIS CGI OK! THAT WOULD SUCK! IT WOULD BE A SLAP IN THE FACE TO 팬 EVERYWHERE!

The Lion King remains to this 일 my favourite animated movie. It has spawned two sequels and a Broadway musical, among other things. However, as it has happened so often in the past with a lot of films, the sequel is a path to the dark side.

Whereas darker and edgier sequels like The Empire Strikes Back and Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets have worked and done their predecessors justice, The Lion King 2 fails miserably.

THE GOOD:

It is refreshingly different to see a 디즈니 sequel that picks up immediately after the events of the first film.

It is also refreshingly different to see a 디즈니 sequel that doesn't come out six decades after the original.

"He Lives In You" is a great song... and so is "Upendi". Too bad the rest of the songs had to be so depressing...

Rafiki the Matchmaker? Now that was a subplot with great potential. Unfortunately, we have to spend a lot of the film with a teenage lion voiced 의해 that lame-boy Andy Dick...

1. She does not listen to her parents when they tell her that the outlands are dangerous and that she should never go there, however she gets angry when her father doesn't trust her. How will he trust 당신 if 당신 keep being disobedient?

2. The fact that she knows nothing about self defence and sucks as a fighter (I assume) doesn't stop her from going to the outlands. (I'm talking about the teenager Kiara who "can" think logically). Why would 당신 go to a dangerous place when 당신 can't protect yourself in the first place? Pretty much everyone can outmatch her.

3. After the ambush, when Simba was badly injured and was lying on Pride Rock the only thing she cared about was Kovu "Daddy, it can't be true". This is not about Kovu.. It's about your father's life who barely made it out of there alive so stop being so selfish and get your facts straight.

4. She knew Kovu for barely two days. 당신 can't 사랑 him and he can't 사랑 you. "He loves me, for me!". No. No one can trust someone after only two days that much! How can she be so naive?

First off; Yes, I do realize It was clearly meant as a parody of the first film and not as an actual serious midquel. At the most it was to give a backstory for Timon and Pumbaa's friendship. And yes, I know that some jungle scenes between Timon, Pumbaa and Simba were written 의해 the first film's creators but since we don't know which ones, I wouldn't regard them at all as canon.
And I'm 99% certain that they weren't any of those parenting scenes because they completely and utterly contradict their 모토 "Hakuna Matata" and from the first film it appears their relationship were bachelor friends, not dads and a son. Plus, I can not see Simba calling, much less accepting, anyone as a father figure after losing Mufasa. Especially after losing him the way he did.

Don't get me wrong, I like parodies and I do have a sense of humour. But I've been a huge, passionate 팬 of The Lion King since 1995 when I first saw it as a child. That is, it's not just a movie to me - it's also a story that meant a lot to me already as a child and something from my childhood that's left me with many dear memories.

Simba, Mufasa, Scar, Nala, Kiara, and all the other characters in the lion king have virtues to teach. They all have some sensible things 또는 emotions to voice out... disseminate. Yes, it is given that Scar became a sort of a villain but we've got to check his background before we judge him.
Scar was originally named Taka and we will be discovering why later.
Mufasa and Taka always loved each other when they were young but their was one thing that broke their bond: the 제목 of being king. Taka can never be a king because he was born 초 to Mufasa. Although he tried very hard to outdo his older brother, he really never succeeded. The king Ahadi, their father always favored Mufasa, neglecting his other son, resulting in the major change of character of Taka. Taka grew 쓴, 쓰라린 and hateful. Time passed and Ahadi grew old. Taka got his vengeance then, he got Mufasa and his father alone and with the blinking of an eye, slit old Ahadi's throat. Mufasa and Taka then had a fierce fight. Mufasa scratched the eye of Taka... that's where his scar came from... Mufasa triumphed over his brother once more.
