Personally, I love Gale much more than Peeta, but I wouldn't want Peeta to be with anyone but Katniss. They are perfect together.

I don't know why, actually. I prefer Gale and never understood what's so special about Peeta. Peeta is sweeter, so it could be why. And he was shown way more than Gale.

Because he turns into a different person by the end of the series. Honestly, I liked him in Hunger Games, was okay with him in Catching Fire, but then he turns into a total asshole by the middle of Mockingjay-a heartless asshole. People complain and say it wasn't his fault that Prim died, but he was still the guy who came up with a bomb that killed parents by luring them with the deaths of their kids. Would you really wanna be in the same room with a guy like that?
