I want to believe that they were chosen because they gave the best auditions but Liam?? I just can't believe it. He's Channing Tatum v2 imo.

i was mad about jennifer but the only thing i don't like about her is that she's not skinny as katniss....josh is kinda not so ok, my peeta was muscular since he's supposed to carry bags of flour and with shoulder length blonde hair.....but liam OMG NO!!! i didn't like the last song at all it was crap and i thought he might be even worse than miley and now they choose him for gale, for my gale.....the only thing left is if they pick a skinny guy for cato and an ugly guy for finnick

I'm not TOO disappointed, I mean, it could have been a lot worse, but I still can't understand how they got Liam. I'm sure I'll come to love him later on, but at the moment...Still, I don't complain too much. I accepted him before he was even officially announced.

I'm perfectly fine with the other two though.

@Monrose, has Peeta ever been described as "HOT"? Gale is the one that always gets comments about his good looks in the series, therefore I always saw Peeta more of the "every day guy", someone whose more cute rather than "hot". And the ONLY reason you wanted Pettyfer was because he's "hot"?

I don't see the point in complaining about the cast though. It's not like they're going to magically change actors just because so many people are bitching about it before they can even release a single picture of any of them in character, much less actually begin filming.

I don't like Josh for Peeta mostly because of how much younger he looks compared to Jennifer but Liam is really nothing how I pictured Gale at all, but I guess if he can act the part he'll end up being okay.

I was surprised at all their choices, but the one that blew it for me was Josh Hutcherson. I'm not a huge fan of his acting.

He's an awesome actor but...he just didn't fit how I saw Peeta

He really isn't a very good actor in my opinion and does not fit in the role of Gale at all.
