Weirdest off topic question!!! (But Has To Do With The Book)!!!

Well Katniss did go to the bathroom in HG because she was going to drink it if she couldn't find water. Her period probably didn't come because of the lack of nutrition. She eats regularly at home, but in the games it isn't as easy. 당신 have to have a enough fat on your body to get your period. That's why some athletes don't get their period because they only have muscle. 당신 have to have fat for the baby to grow.

I've actually wondered that too, but since I'd rather not read about it anyway, I just assume it's discreetly taken care of somehow.

OMG i have tottaly thought of that but i never ascked cause i didnt know if any body else that about it would thought ,wouldnt it be awful to be on your period during the hunger games.

It's true. What if 당신 had to go to the washroom, and 당신 didn't know if there was camera's all around you...That would deffinitly make me not want to go to the washroom. :P lol

I have thought of it too... I guess if someone needs to use the bathroom,they will do it in the woods and the camera wont show it... But if a girl has her period it is difficult. I have no idea what they might do...

I don't think Collins finds it interesting that people go to the bathroom. And about the period-thing... I guess they use natural things.

Hey, but since the capitol has all of these cool high tech things, shouldn't there be some kind of pill of some sort to maybe, 당신 know, to stop having your period for the games ? 또는 maybe a needle ?
I'm sure there is a reason to why suzanne collins didn't mention it in the book. And yeah, it's a natural thing to do maybe even getting a little too descriptive even. I mean, I think I'd find it sorta awkward 읽기 about someone talking about how 또는 where they did there buisness .. LOL xO
And about the pregnant part .. I really don't know too much about that .. >.<

I always wonder about these things in 책 and it annoys me because then I can't take the book seriously because these real life obstacles are not being addressed.
I'm curious as to how the whole pregnant thing is going to go.. If I was Katniss with all her views of not having kids I'd spread the news that the stress and the fighting caused a miscarriage 또는 something..

I thought about the period thing too. I guess Katniss wasn't on her period for the time she was there, 또는 something. If she was, well, it's natural, so someone would probably sponsor her and send her neccessary items :) As for going to the bathroom, they just do it, I guess. In the bushes. Katniss said in the first book that "the little urine she passed was dark brown" 또는 something, since she was dehydrated. Yuck. But yeah.

well i think suzzanne collins left that out so the guy readers wont have to skip 또는 feel akward but that is really confusing!

I feel like the Capitol would have addressed this issue before sending them into the arena, same as they prevented the boys from growing facial hair.

The Games are supposed to be like a T.V. show for them, and you'd never see an actress on T.V. with a 랜덤 period stain.
