Who else thinks that Ian Somerhalder would play a good Ian in the movie?

I was thinking it over, and now I really like the idea.

ALL 팬 WHO THINK IAN SOMERHALDER SHOULD PLAY IAN O'SHEA LISTEN UP!!!!!!! IF U GO TO THE WEBSITE 인터넷무비 데이타베이스 AND THEN LOOK UP IAN SOMERHALDER...THEN GO DOWN TO WHERE IT SHOWS ALL THE 영화 HE HAS DONE AND ALL THE 영화 HE IS WORKING ON AND PLANNING TO DO. THE FIRST ONE ON THE LIST IS THE HOST!!!!!!!!!! 다음 TO IT SAYS IAN O'SHEA!!!!! AHHHHHHHH OMG IM SOOOOOOO EXCITED

Well, it says "rumored" still. Many people claim to be insiders on 인터넷무비 데이타베이스 and put this info up. I have seen many actors rumored to be in 영화 and then they aren't in the end.

I do watch Lost. I have no doubt in his 연기 abilities. He is a good actor. I really meant that he doesn't have a sweet enough face in my opinion. He is 더 많이 bad boy to me. Even if he is 연기 sweet he still seems to rough.. to be Ian O'Shea.

Kuncuyug: well.. thinking on someone beautiful, tall, blue eyes, black hair and muscular made me think of Tom Welling, especially cause I though Ian had around 30 years old, but I think Tom can play a 25 년 old guy. Nicole62: Oh, i gotta it, now. haha. I've had understood in a different way, sorry if it bothered 당신 :/

That's cool. I reread my answer after your response and it was a bit confusing. I could see Tom Welling being Ian, but he doesn't seem to do much besides Smallville. Maybe he would make an exception.

Yeah, true, but how 스몰빌 is over now, he may want to do something else, right? I mean, he practically lived for 스몰빌 and now he'is 'free'. But if 당신 are concern about he's acting... well, then i got nothing to say, and about that, unfortunately, we have to be realistic; the host movie won't have a big inicial budget, so they'll not hire actors that require a too big salary :/

Oh, I didn't know that 스몰빌 had ended. I stopped watching it a few seasons ago. Then Welling would be a good option. I can't completely agree that the movie won't be able to hire good actors. Yes, they won't be able to get huge names like Brad Pitt. But, Andrew Niccol has the pull to get good actors like Ethan Hawke, Nicolas Cage, Tom Hanks, Catherine Zeta-Jones, and Al Pacino. Nick Weschler and Steve and Paula Mae Schwartz produced The Road together which has Viggo Mortensen, Robert Duvall, and Charlize Theron in it. And Nick Weschler has been the producer for 영화 like The Time Traveler's Wife, We Own the Night, North Country, and Requiem for a Dream. None of these people are known for doing small, low budget movies.

And I didn't knew that much about the producers. I though that would be like.. Twilight, 당신 know? Small director, not enough money (Catherine said this in an interview) and everything. This made me feel concerned about the whole thing, buut if the producers are known, then i'm 더 많이 relaxed.

Yeah, I'm a little bit of a "movie buff" =) Stephenie Meyer has shown that her 책 as 영화 can bring in serious money. Now she has the attention of the big 개 haha. I heard the producers were trying to impress her with a good vision for the movie adaptation for awhile before she said yes.

Yeah, I read somewhere that they are working on the third script for the movie. But I was a bit worried about the money (even with good producers)

I agree. He isn't muscular enough, tall enough, 또는 sweet enough. Even if his height is over-looked and somehow his skin is made realistically lighter, he is 더 많이 like Kyle than Ian O'Shea.

Jasper isn't a main character like Ian is. He is important, of course, but he doesn't have this big importance in the movie, he is not a Edward 또는 a Jacob and Ian is one of these two. I agree that Taylor hasn't the high enough to play Jacob, but he worked the enough to deserve the part. He worked out and became muscular enough, but Ian Somerhalder already work out a lot, and he won't get as muscular as Ian O'Shea, cause he won't care that much about the part.

I just wanna say that there is no such person who is just like Ian O'Shea, he's someone from Stephenies imagination and it's hard to find someone who will look right and be good enough to play that role. Ian Somerhalder isn't tall enough. So what? It's only that, he has the same eyes, the same hair, even the same name. I watched him in almost all his 영화 and shows and he can play someone who is nice person like Jack ( from 로스트 City Raiders) 또는 wicked like Damon ( TVD)

omg, I don't think that because they have the same name he should get the role, I just said that it is coincidence, he would be great for role even if he's named diferently, forget the name part of my answer
