Frankly I hope he does, she's a pointless character, who shouldn't even be in the movies.

Maybe she'll be in deep grieve over Kili's death and then stay in Esgaroth (or Mirkwood) for the rest of her life.

I don't know why PJ would create a character only to kill the character off in the next movie. It is a possibility, but it just doesn't make much sense to me. I could see it happening, but I think she's more likely to just be wounded.

Frankly, it only makes sense to kill her. Because she isn't in the LOTR movies. Where was she in then? Did she just leave Middle-Earth? Also for the fact she served her propose, to give people a female character and romance fuel. Making her pregnant will be beyond stupid, especially if it's Kili's. The Line was suppose to be broken, that is the tear jerking part of it all. So if she is pregnant with his child, then it's not broken and the child would be the ruler. Though I really doubt they'd go that far, so I don't worry on that bet.
