Varric McKai
A Native American son of Ares, His father took the form of a British man Tanner McKai. The actual name McKai is actually spelt McKay but pronounced as the first spelling so Ares figured that it wasn't worth the confusion. (And noses he would break) A true Greek Scotsmen, (If you think that's strange just wait until you learn hear about the Goddess Britannia) rarely out of his kilt. Ares found in Varric's mother a women that understood the nature of war aswell as any soldier even though she'd never seen it herself. She knew this because of her heritage as a member of the Mohawk tribe. Varric's hair is spinned into a traditional bun on the back off his head and braids on the side. Deep sorrow filled eyes, a 5'11 (And 7/8's so basically 6' feet) fairly muscled and a master of traditional combat. He instantly knew when he crossed the border of Camp Half-Blood and saw Arik, (Son of Nemesis and Tartarus, Tartarus having been in a mostly mortal state when they errrr..... made a baby) in the form of the stone sentinel that guarded Thalia's tree (Awakened to join Percy on his first quest and the others following it) he knew that he'd use a similar fighting style. Dual-Weilding long slender weapons (Sabre's opposed to Katana's) , Bow-Mastery, Tomahawks a weapon known as the Abyssal Longsword, Twin Mini-Crossbow's and Flintlock Pistol's that draw of a person's energy instead of ammo allowing them to be fired at great fire rates. Mobile plate armor 15th century mediterranean robes and a Bajillion other weapons, like batmans utility belt a little bit. A avatar of the fade in his own right, ready to do whatevers necessary. His fatal flaw is similar to many mighty warrior's, overextending his abilities but he is also lacking in restriant and finds it hard to control his anger quite often. He is easily over powered by strong emotions, the embodiment of the commander in the middle of Paragon and Renegade. He's hesitant even though he is prepared to make those hard choices, it is both a weakness and a strength. He is respected by his subordinates because he has a very human feel about him, he takes no decision lightly. His fear and rage are real, a truly deep person with a deep and profound understanding of peoples actions. Varric often wonders what Atlas's burden is like, a nice vacation from his life on the battlefield he figures. A clearly defined simple goal, Varric has yet to encounter this.
Spencer Belle
The chief engineer of New Rome, this son of Vulcan is a travel critic and cynic. As a builder of machine's he constantly takes a step back to find somethingout of place. He is a master of combat, he can notice a single change in who somebody is acting and see where they tense. Don't confuse that with knowing how emotions work. He's still as clueless as women think all men are, often dodging attacks for that reason. Vulcan is like Nemesis and Tartarus in that he appreciates hardwork and grit. This is also a inherited trait, the monsters smashed to dust by Spencer's warhammer can testify. He has a beefy build just shorter then Varric and short dirty blond hair with a knowing grin and dark eyes with a almost ember like color. He is armed with a similar load out to Varric, only he things dual wielding is for flailing sissies and sticks to his warhammer for non-ranged weapon. His flaw is Hubris, he always thinks he can find a way. Unwilling to abandon a plan in motion when it's failing because if it can be sustained. "Time is one tool you do not have, Leo Valdez." Lady Khione said this with a sneer on her face but it's true for all children of the smith god. Quick thinker's yes, but not always quick enough. He hates being confined with limited materials, limiting his freedom of mind (As member of the fifth cohort he understood this well). He loves and steel but hates the nature of of a unchanging world. Some see him as extreme measure, he see's it as a necessary measure.
Dawn Hudson
The champion of the Camp-Jupiter Mercennariorum Motus:Mercenary Movement, something that exists outside the cohorts. Much like Lupa's pack anyone who isn't strong enough falls back into the cohorts. They wouldn't survive under such a rigorous routine. Like Obama's view for America, being in a group allows the strongest to break free and forge there own paths that's where they differ from Lupa. Cybele is the mother of this one, that's where the hard as nails trait comes from. She doesn't hate other people, she just doesn't trust them to be able to keep up. Chastises herself constantly on failures and is also not quite the best at conversing. And thus her fatal flaw, it makes her seem more Greek then Roman at times. She has to do everything herself or something will go wrong. Years of living in the wilderness told her to trust nothing, the thing that warrants the most trust is equipment but even that has its limits. She isn't the most graceful speaker, she can understand her thoughts and thats all she needs for her own success. Inherited trait there, her mother is the goddess of mountains and more or less took over Gaea's realm. So she thinks almost ferally, acting almost entirely on instinct. Complex thoughts are there but based on enviromental advantages, a master of terrain-based-warfare. Is often frustrated by people with big vocabulary and decides to use the international sign of fist to face.
