What did Carlo get for setting Sonny up to be killed?

Michael confronts Carlo and assures him he would not be murdered in retaliation to Sonny's death.Michael has a car pick up Carlo to take him to the airport,in the back 좌석 of the car is fat Clamenza.Carlo sits shotgun,where Clamenza puts a cord around Carlo's neck and strangles him to death.Carlo kicks out the windshield of the car during the struggle.Then dies,while Michael and various other henchmen are watching.
