I think a movie with JGL as Robin would be awesome and I think that is what they are setting up for, but I don't think it is going to be a Batman and Robin movie as such...

I think that they will do this, with maybe the Riddler as a villain. Though this was Nolan's last Batman movie, Bale is open for another. They could still make it "Nolan-style" just not with him directing. They've got to be thinking something up with the events near the end, John Blake being called Robin and him entering the cave.

@justice97: Bale is open to another ONLY IF Nolan returns, and that's not gonna happen.

Bale has also categorically refused to do a movie with Robin in it.

If the franchise is ever rebooted, will be probably be set in the Justice League universe DC is planning, which has little room for Robin.

And Finally, I think it's a sucky idea.

@Joe-kerr: Nolan said he wouldn't do another BATMAN movie. Who says he can't direct a movie with just Robin/Nightwing?

Yes, but does it have to be Bale? No.

There can be a cameo, or Robin could be a supporting character such as in the comics, or he may be in a Teen Titans film.

I'm open for anyone to have a different opinion then I do.

No one says he CAN'T do a Robin movie. It's just common sense that he won't. It's implied from what he said. He's done with the series. He was even reluctant to do Rises. He'd like to take up something new.

You can't find loopholes in quotes. It's not a law. Nolan isn't The Riddler.

It's probable that there will be a sequel or reboot of Batman but Nolan won't be a part of it. And when it does, the studios are more likely to push Batman than Robin.

In the comics, Dick Grayson (Robin) becomes Nightwing and later assumes the identity of Batman, so showing JGL or another actor as Batman isn't that much of a stretch. IMHO, it will make a better movie than one with Robin in lead.

However, if you're rooting for a Teen Titan movie, good luck!

No one says that Nolan has to direct. It can just be Nolan-style.

I have no idea what you just said.

That's what I've been meaning to say, I'd be fine with that!

Ya know, Nolan already set the movies in his way, thus changing whatever the series does. In the comics, John Blake didn't even exist.

I'm not rooting for it, I'm just saying it may happen.

You just said Nolan might direct a Robin/Nightwing movie! Read your previous comment.
And yeah! There is no "Nolan-style". Either Nolan directs or he doesn't. I don't think any other director can fill his shoes.

About Blake's name: naming him 'Dick Grayson' or 'Jason Todd' or 'Tim Drake' would have defeated the purpose, don't you think? Robin's real first name isn't Robin. Blake's is. Blake was just a plot device to hint that the Batman legacy might continue. He was just a reference to Robin the comic-book character.

Good thing you're not rooting for Teen Titan, because that's gonna happen! I don't know whatever gave you that idea.

PS- what I meant by the loophole part:

Nolan said he wouldn't do another BATMAN movie. Who says he can't direct a movie with just Robin/Nightwing?

When Nolan said no Batman movies, he probably meant no movies of Batman and/or Robin/Catwoman/Harley Quinn/Penguin/Gordon/Alfred or any other movie set in Gotham for that matter. He probably didn't mean to hint at a Robin movie. You can't take that quote as a riddle or find loopholes in it so it means something it doesn't.

I said he might. MIGHT! maybe you should listen before you argue. Plus, I was just responding to your negativity towards Nolan. Haters gonna hate. That has happened before, and other directors have pulled it off.

How would it defeat the purpose? I get creativity and all, but it's a comic book movie. It wouldn't hurt to have him be Dick, Jason, or Tim. No, Blake's first name is John. So, LOL fail!

I believe you mean "because that's NOT gonna happen!" because your grammar fail makes your negativity third-grade level.

How would you know? Your not Nolan or Bale, are you? hhhmmmm?

Make up your mind.

My negativity towards Nolan? I don't even know what makes you say that. I'm the one who's hoping that the sanctity of Nolan's trilogy remains intact and no one defiles it with a Robin movie.

----------------------------------------------------
How would it defeat the purpose?

It would defeat the purpose because it would give away the fact that Blake is a Robin reference, which is revealed at the end. Do I have to spell everything out?

----------------------------------
I believe you mean "because that's NOT gonna happen!"

It's called sarcasm, hence the exclamation mark. (That's gonna happen!) {If it helps, imagine a derisive laugh}. My grammar is perfectly fine, thanks for caring. Maybe you should work on yours, considering you made a grammatical mistake just after you criticized my grammar.

How would you know? Your not Nolan or Bale, are you? hhhmmmm? (It's spelled "you're".)

No, I'm not Nolan or Bale, but then, neither are you. At least I'm drawing my conclusions based on what they actually said. You are welcome to believe Nolan's quote was a dubious hint at a Robin movie.

I'm sorry if I came across as rude, but your comments about me made me angry.

I'm not enjoying this conversation very much, so I'll stop talking now.
No hard feelings.

OK, u don't get what I'm saying, I had a mistake! Just like EVERBODY DOES! You did too! I'm not saying it was hinting, I'm just saying it could be awesome. Who cares about my grammar, at least I include my words. You still know what I'm saying, so your point is invaild. I believe this sarcasm thing is just a "sucking-up" excuse. I'm sorry if I'm sounding rude. I'm gonna fan u. :)
