By this I'm not including things like proper social conduct, since I think we can all agree pretty much all of us know a lot more than Sheldon when it comes to social interaction, lol.

In 'The Pirate Solution' Sheldon says being a pirate is an all male proffesion, but actually history had a few very notable female pirates, such as Cheng I Sao (or Ching Yih Saou). Seems like something someone like Sheldn would know.

It just made me giggle knowing something that Sheldon didn't, especially as I really wouldn't rank myself as smart. I'm about average intellect (which is Sheldon's idea of a moron I imagine) so I was like 'wooo. I had more knowledge than Sheldon. Go my brain' lol. I was wondering if anyone else had any Sheldon outsmarting moments, since as a TV show written by non geniuses (very funny non-geniuses) there are always going to be some mistakes that the characters probably wouldn't make if they were real :)

In one episode (can't remember which) he's talking to Leonard about terminators and asks why skynet would bother making a hot young female terminator (referencing Summer Glau in T:SCC) but actually it makes more sense to make a pretty, petit one than a big muscle bound one. If their main function was infiltration, and as robots they'll be super strong whether they're big or little then one that appears non threatening would have a much easier time infiltrating groups of humans. It actually makes far less sense to make an Arnie style robot, since he sticks out so much and looks scary. His strength comes from being a robot, not his muscles, so the muscles do nothing but make his job harder. In fact, they were originally going to cast a more normal looking man because it makes more sense, but decided Arnie looked cooler for the part.

I know that's not technical knowledge it's movie knowledge but that counts, right? It's still the logical answer and I did find it funny Sheldon didn't think of that since it's so obvious :D

Nothing comes to mind, unless we are including popculture stuff. He's too smart. xD

But I don`t think I know most of the things he knows! Shelly is way too smart! :)

He always stumps me on comic book stuff, but I get what he's talking with science, and once or twice I've known stuff he hasn't. I wouldn't go so far as to say "fear my mighty brain" but...
