Well, most everyone else here seems to have done a favourite Beatles song list - now it's my turn. My list is, of course, subject to change, since this is the Beatles and I don't think one 기사 would be long enough to talk about all the wonderful songs they wrote. However, at the moment, my 상단, 맨 위로 20 are:
1. 당신 Like Me Too Much
I don't know why, but this one has been special to me since the 일 I first heard it. Maybe because it's a nice reversal of sad 사랑 songs - instead of, "don't leave me", it's "you'll never leave me". Not that I have anything against sad 사랑 songs, but they all need their happy endings.
2. Ask Me Why
This song is so unbelieveably happy it always made me cry, until I had listened to the Beatles' songs so much I couldn't cry at them anymore. (By the way, if anyone knows how I can start crying at them again, I'd really appreciate that.)
3. Don't Pass Me By
Ringo's first-ever song. Need I say more?
4. I Will
There was something very enchanting about this song the first time I heard it; some sheer, heart-piercing romance. I feel it whenever the song comes on unexpectedly, now. But it is always beautiful, and I will always 사랑 this song, because of that first listen.
5. Help!
How can I not 사랑 a song that reminds me of the movie?
6. I'll Get You
I 사랑 the unique theme of this one. Most songs about unrequited 사랑 are sad; this one is determined.
7. 저기요 Jude
This gets the special place at number seven, in honour of how many 분 are in the song. I think this must be the number-one most 인기 choice for favourite Beatles song lists. There aren't many seven-minute songs that leave me thinking, "What, it's over already?"
8. Don't Bother Me
You'd never know this was George's very first song. It's just that good, and that title! Who but George would call a song "Don't Bother Me"?
9. Yellow Submarine
I've loved this one since I was a little girl who didn't know anything about the Beatles except that they chose to name themselves after an insect.
10. Here, There, and Everywhere
Possibly the most romantic song ever.
11. Hold Me Tight
To get the full romance of this one, I always imagine Paul is 노래 to me. Nothing makes a Beatles song better than to imagine they're 노래 it to me.
12. It's Only Love
I 사랑 the riff, I 사랑 the romance, I 사랑 John's voice....
13. I Should Have Known Better
The 제목 fools 당신 - this is way happier than I thought it would be before I heard it! I always picture it like a marriage proposal 또는 something. How can 당신 not 사랑 something so happy?
14. What Goes On
This might be the most underrated Beatles song. The Red Album includes almost half of Rubber Soul, but not this one! What could be 더 많이 important than Ringo's first-ever songwriting credit?
15. Tell Me What 당신 See
Incredibly beautiful with deceptively simple chords. This is a favourite of mine to play on the guitar.
16. Old Brown Shoe
What with all of George's later 사랑 songs being for Pattie, I needed to choose one I could keep for myself, so this is the one. Really, who would tell us that a Beatles 사랑 song is about a specific person so we can't imagine it's about us anymore?
17. Can't Buy Me Love
I normally go for the less well-known ones, but this song stood out from the first time I saw "A Hard Day's Night", which is what first introduced me to the Beatles. Maybe it was the song's message.
18. With a Little Help From My Friends
If the Beatles really had to stop 글쓰기 their beautiful 사랑 songs in the later years, they could at least have written a few 더 많이 songs like this one. Maybe if they'd focused on their friendship a bit more, things would have been different....
19. It Won't Be Long
I call this one the happy ending to just about any sad 사랑 song 당신 could think of - at least the ones with male vocals. It's over, they've made up, and now she's coming back and will never leave him again.
20. I Feel Fine
I'm in 사랑 with her, she's in 사랑 with me... Pure and simple, never-ending happiness.
And now my bonus list; my 상단, 맨 위로 three Beatles cover songs:
Act Naturally: I couldn't believe this one was a cover, at first. The Beatles could have written it, after having just made their 초 movie. And I 사랑 the idea of Ringo winning an Oscar.
Devil In Her Heart: What I like about this one is the trust. The girl may be a devil to everyone else, but to George, she's an angel.
Baby It's You: It's the line, "But, oh, it doesn't matter what they say/ I know I'm gonna 사랑 당신 any old way..." That also used to make me cry.
