It's not that I'm disappointed that he lost. Somehow he wasn't as good as he was coming into the gravel season, unfortunately. And today Soderling was just better.

I wanted him to lose so that Roger can have a higher chance of winning the Grand Slam.

Rafa is the best,but in this match Soderling was better.And really-it's too bad that he lost.After match Rafa said this:
"I know I am going to lose one day or the other.Since I know it will happen,I am not worried about it.That's life,the sport and the difficulty of tennis.You need a defeat to give value to your victories:with calm.This is not a tragedy,losing here in Paris.It had to happen one day,and this is an axcellent season for me."
