That's what brought me to the books. I absolutely love the show and now I'm just reading the second book.

I thought the show was okay, the show did introduce to the books and there were parts to the show I did like. To this day, whenever I read the books, I imagine most of the characters as portrayed by the actors. I would have rather seen a more direct take on the series as opposed to the many liberties taken by the show.
