Cody tries to impress Dana and gets a job as a corporate executive. The family decides to get an answering machine. Karen gets a call from a crush named Bobby but neglects to tell Frank that there was a message for him

Frank and Carol become frustrated with their children constantly asking them to run their errands and small favors. Eventually, they lose their patience and implement a rule where the children must do everything for themselves.
