Well I say Yes cause, Buffy was lost and confused she told Spike where she has been when she was dead. Towards to the epsiodes "Once More With Feeling" & Tabula Rasa Buffy did in fact kissed Spike twice. Now in the other great epsiode was Smashed and Wrecked when Buffy was in that addiction over Spike. When Spike asked her why you kiss me , Buffy's reponse was when I kissed you know that I was thinking about "Giles". Spike said did it satified you?. Buffy said please leave me alone.

Now as Buffy saw Spike in the allie, Spike was giving her good news for him that the chip stop working on her. Buffy was shocked , she gave him a fight, but as the fight get intense you can see Buffy was feeling something from Spike, Buffy & Spike start to kiss again and makeout.

In "Wrecked", Buffy woke up saw herself back in the abandoned house, she saw her and Spike sleeping together, Buffy felt disgusted but Spike would not let go, that he gave her last tempation to say , another words Spike found Buffy's sweet spot, that Buffy felt Last night. Buffy was stopped him and said Is That this is about, Spike said that I'm just saying vampires gave you hot, As Buffy telling only one vampire A.K.A Angel, Spike said I may be dirt, but love to roll in it slayer, Buffy still has that bad boy feeling in her from Spike

Buffy had to be the first to intiate sex with Spike. If he had Buffy most likely would have pummeled him but besides that she had to be the one to take the leap (that sounds naughty in my head). Spike wouldn't push her, yes he would goad and insinuiate, but he wouldn't ask for more than what she was giving (SR was under different circumstances), the only thing he does is ask what the kisses mean. He knows that there is something there but Buffy is always the one to intiate anything physical.

OMWF, Buffy follows Spike, TR, Buffy follows Spike, the warehouse, Buffy is the one to jump into his arms and pull down his zipper (have you all head how loud that zipper is? Somebody else pointed it out and now it's all I hear in that scene link it's about 3:27ish in.)

In short, Buffy pushed it to the next level because that is where her character was going and I don't see how they could have reversed it. Buffy is also the one to push things to the next level with Angel. Just wanted to point that out. (Can't remember with Riley - mental block) Buffy has to build up the desire and need for release and then she takes the situation in hand (gutter head today) and just like with Angel they illustrate her wanting it by having her head above he partners in the first scene. Buffy is the one to lean back and turn to kiss Angel, her head above his is frame and with Spike she is the one to jump up and during the 'action' he is the one against the wall or on the floor. This is a way they illustrate Buffy in control and as much as she may deny it later, completely doing what she wants.

Well, ArabellaElfie you have point that Buffy had the lust over Spike that she was the first to inimate sexual contact to Spike in Smashed, OMWF , Tabula Rasa, and don't forget the epsiode of Wrecked, Well all theses epsiodes showed how Buffy was in darker phase with Spike,


Well, Season 6 was the most outragous season that show has seen with two great characters Buffy & Spike, Like there were great episodes of them in AfterLife , Flooded, Life Serial , man I can just go on, But I absolutly love AfterLife what a epsiode of Buffy & Spike, beauiful when Spike was always only one who could understand what Buffy telling him in the end of that epsiode.

You mentioned Afterlife sometime yesterday, I don't remember where because we both post so much, and I watched that and the tail end of bargaining last night and the Spike moments are so very good. I don't know if I ever really appericated the scene with Xander in the front yard after Buffy came back.

I think the relationship was moments of light and dark and Buffy wasn't comfortable with it so we never really had a comfortable grey.
