He should have told her he was alive, to let her make the decision if she wanted to see him or not, but I think it was more interesting that they didn't see Buffy in Rome.

i agree with nika on some level but i think actually realisticly she would have wanted to see him and he would have gone and then we wouldn't of had so many other good episodes of spike on angel

in my perfect world sarah should have agreed to do one episode and that's what spike should have done on his last day in 'not fade away' go see buffy and tell her

I think that she would have wanted to see him as well. Sarah was actually suppose to be in the episode You're Welcome, but something came up, I'm not sure if it was a movie or a funeral I've heard both, and so they used Charisma instead. I think it would have been interesting with both her loves there, but I wouldn't have wanted Spike to leave Angel, and if she picked him he would of.

I agree about the Not Fade Away thing, it always grated me that he didn't call her or Dawn.

angel vs spike for buffy
buffy vs cordy for angel
and plus buffy wouldn't have been able to nab him as he wasn't corporial then

however i wouldn't have wanted buffy instead cordy

In You're Welcome he was corporeal. Remember, that was the episode they found out Lindsay was masquerading around as Doyle, and he bit Cordelia in it?

But yeah, I liked Cordy in it.

Also I think the epsiode Destiny and Girl in Question was to vag that Spike should have call Buffy and told her that he is alive but not seeing her would be hard for them both . But Destiny was about Angel and Spike fighting whose the best vampire with a soul to save the world. Then Angel had to brought the addictive relationship with Spike and Buffy , that was too much I mean it was soo childish that Angel and Spike just constantly fighting over Buffy , All was to funny to hear and to watch

Overall Spike made the right decision not to tell Buffy that he was alive at the end of Angel series.

Part of me thinks yes, but really I'm glad he didn't. He was on the show 'Angel' at the time, so they really wouldn't have been able to devote the time required to that particular aspect of the storyline. And also, in the comics it's now said that the girl in Rome wasn't actually Buffy at all, but just a decoy set up to make the evil things of the world think that Buffy lived in Rome. I like it that way. And I'm glad that I still have their reunion to look forward to.

Same i was really pissed off that he wouldn't stumble off a ship and see her....but that whole fight thing with angel was really funny, but still they have to meet sometime during the comics!

I haven't seen this episode or anything, but I think yes to telling her he was alive at least.
