I know that on the Season 1 dvd there's a featurette about 'The Ink' done on the show. You'll probably find this on 당신 Tube if 당신 don't have the dvd. Also, try the SOA official page and 링그 to Kurt Sutter Inc might help. I know that some of the tats are real and some arent....

I think the one on chibs chest is real I saw a pic of him in regular clothes and could get a glimpse of it.
