Selena Kayleigh Gomez was born on July 22nd, 1992, in New York to her parent Rick and Mandy. She later moved to Grand Prairie, Texas, where she spent the rest of her childhood days.
When Selena was about seven, she decided she wanted to become an actress. Mandy took Selena to an audition against about 1,4000 kids. Selena soon appeared on Barney and Friends, where she met her BFF for life, Demi Lovato.
At the age of twelve, Selena traveled to Austin, Texas, for her 디즈니 Channel casting call. Selena was soon on a plane to Los Angeles to audition for a 디즈니 Channel show.
Selena ws casting the lead role on a show, but it was not picked to be put o air. But 디즈니 did ot forget about her. She guest-starred in Hannah Montana and The Suite Life of Zack and Cody. Her big break finally came when she was casted as Alez Russo on the show Wizards of Waverly Place.
Selena wanted to be in a movie, too. Selena auditioned for the movie Another 신데렐라 Story,
and was casted as Mary (Cinderella), and her co-star was Drew Seeley, a young superstar who went on tour woth the High School Musical cast.
Selena knew that her face was known to thousands 또는 even millions of kids around the country, but she wanted to have a 작살, 공연 with her best friend, Demi Lovato. Selena and Demi starred in the 디즈니 Channel original movie, Princess Protection Program.
