One of the things I’ve liked about Sakurasou since the beginning is how well the whole cast is utilized. With a romcom like this, it could easily have been the Sorata-and-his-love-interests show, but it’s not. Not only Misaki and Jin, but other characters are getting good screen time and even character development now. This time it was still Rita’s turn in the spotlight – which was to be expected, this being her arc – but also Akasaka’s as well.

After the last episode I felt emotionally drained, like someone had strapped a vacuum to my soul and sucked out all the life. This week, I feel uplifted. All the pain, all the struggle they went through lead to something fantastic. Characters grew, learned about themselves, and came to realize what the true happiness of Sakurasou is all about. I could almost sing.

There is no way I’m going to be able to say everything I want about this episode. Holy hell it was phenomonal.

The beginning of the episode holds the only part I’m really going to criticize on this episode, because over all I loved it. Starting off, while I dearly enjoyed Misaki-sempai going all lipstick yuri for megane Nanami (HNNNNGG!!), I thought it distracted from Sorata getting his results.
