This is possibly one of my 가장 좋아하는 chapters!


*Brook's POV*

I got out of 침대 early the 다음 morning feeling so excited for the 일 to come. I had plenty of sleep despite the dreams that always had one person in it. . . Karim. There was just something that always draws me to him. . . I had connected with him unlike any other.
I wonder why?
I fixed my hair down, plain, boring, and wavy. I put on a touch of lipstick and decided to dress up, well, just a little bit. I put on a spaghetti-strap dress that was a purple color with designs all over it and my old 재킷, 자 켓 with a 목걸이 that Linda got for me on my last birthday. I scavenged for my many bracelets and put them on and headed out the door.
I wonder what will happen today?

After my leisurely walk to Piedmont, I rested on the designated bench and let the cool mist from the pouring water behind me cool off my warm skin from the sun's heat.
"Brook?" I heard his familiar, gentle, and soft voice speak from in front of me and I looked up automatically, as if on instinct.
He was standing in front of me, his strange blond hair with its brilliant red and silver tints and highlights shining magnificentally in the glorious sun overhead. His long lashes casting shadows on his pale skin and his deep sky blue eyes gazed straight into mine. He wore what looked like old blue jeans and then an amazingly tight-fitted v-neck, short-sleeves, and it was dark brown. What's 더 많이 is that it completely showed-off the muscles in his chest, and his drool-worthy biceps were visible too. . .
I blushed, realizing my train-of-thoughts.
His fingertips lightly grazed over my burning cheek, his incredibly cool touch decreasing the temperature to a 더 많이 comfortable, tingling temperature.
"May I sit 다음 to you?" he asked politely in a silkier, deeper tone than before.
"Of course." I answered, his gentleman behavior always reining in.
He took the 좌석 on the stone bench beside me, moving close to me.
This area was well secluded even though we were sitting at a majestic fountain.
"Th-thank 당신 for meeting me here," I stammered, trying to show my gratitude.
He simply smiled my 가장 좋아하는 smile of his and turned so he could face me.
"It's not a problem at all, whatever 당신 desire, I will happily give to you," he answered me, and my 심장 thumped unevenly at his words. But then I was confused, why would he say that?
"But why would you?" I asked, and an emotion came into his eyes before he looked away with a sigh. And that emotion. . .
It was love. . . for me. For me?
"Karim, do you. . ." I had to stop to gather the courage to just say it. "Love me?"
I held my breath, hoping my conclusions were true since I've been feeling this way about him for a while now.
He swiftly met my gaze.
"I've been in 사랑 with 당신 since the moment I gazed into your eyes," he responded, his sudden answer stunning me.
"Why?"
"Because. . . Brook. . ." His face drifted closer to mine. "You're my someone." He whispered, his tantalizing cool breath caressed my face.
"You're. . . what?" I asked after a few seconds.
"My someone. It's what happens to vampires. When we look into the eyes of the one who is meant for us. . . we connect with them, mind and spirit. They become our soul mates for all eternity," he explained.
This whole Someone thing sounded a lot like a werewolf's Imprint. . . it was undying love, no matter what.
"So let me get this straight. . . I'm your soul mate. . . really?" I just couldn't believe it. . . How could I have been so blind to Karim's feelings for me? It had always been there. . . in his smiles, every time he laughed, the way his eyes shine, the way he holds me. . .
Karim moved closer to me and cupped the side of my face.
"Yes. I 사랑 당신 더 많이 than anything 또는 anyone," he whispered, soft and silky, leaning even closer to me.
"I 사랑 당신 too Karim," I confessed, before slowly, intimately, we closed the remaining distance between us. I always imagined how my first 키스 would be like. . . and this trumped those fantasies.
We both closed our eyes as we neared each other. Our lips touched, and then they moved in sync. Karim moaned in undeniable pleasure and my 심장 was racing. I squeezed his hand that was cradling my face, and my other hand rested on his chest - our first passionate 키스 making my head spin and my entire body electrified from the tingling sensation. His cold, hard lips fit perfectly with mine and his other hand was buried in my hair.
We soon stopped, and opened our eyes at the same time, and just sat there. Gazing dreamily into each others captivating eyes as our heavy breathing began to go back to normal.
Karim was just about to say something when suddenly something appeared from the woods that caught both our attentions.
