Isn't it normally the original pairing which'd work best, and changing your mind to appeal to fans is what is normally regretted if done?

I'm kind of hearthbroken about Jo's comments but I still think Ron and Hermione are a great couple. They will always be canon no matter what. What bothers me most is that I feel like Jo and Emma "now" think Ron wasn't good enough for Hermione. It really makes me sad to read that about my favorite character. Anyway, the books are done and Romione was endgame so no regrets for me. :D

Sadly, it's true. I mean, why would JK say something like that? Why would she regret the pairing? I'll have to reread the books to see if the pairing really makes sense or I was buying a cheap hate-love relationship. I seriously hope I'll still love Romione.

I feel like Ron matured a lot toward the end of the series and that he continued to mature to the point that he was good enough for Hermione. Sure they continued to fight but there's no relationship where a couple doesn't fight a lot once they get close enough to really know each other best and be around each other every day. They balance each other's flaws really well. Besides, Romione makes it so all three are related, which is nice

1st They definately matured when they grew up and won't be having the same arguments over almost everything. And even if they do argue they'll still love each other
2nd So then why did she write the whole DH Ron and Hermione relationship to be Romione Romione ?!
3rd Nothing will change my mind , she won't make DH version 2.0 so where;s the prob
