If I had the ability to change the past whenever I wanted, it would mean I could be perfect. I'd never make any mistakes... and before I reversed time, I could do and say anything I wanted because everybody would forget it later, like telling my least favorite teacher she's a big fat noodlewrist and dacing on her desk. :) I'd even settle for changing the past once. As for seeing the future, that's just -_-

People who want to change the past are childish and uninformed. By uninformed, I mean people that picked past, haven't you ever seen Doctor Who?? Change the past and giant dragon-demons will come and kill you fool. loljk.

But seriously.

If you went back and you changed all of your mistakes, you wouldn't be the person you are. You'd be some idiot who doesn't know anything and is even more self-centered and careless than before. You learn from your mistakes, big and small, and that's why making mistakes is good. (In terms of average life, I mean. Hitler's mistake wasn't good lol.) It's the same deal with wanting to change other people's mistakes, like saying "I would change history so WWI would never have happened.) Guys, the world would be completely different if you changed history. It's like the ripple effect, change something and it influences so much around it that you would never have anticipated.

I know seeing the future changes the future, as they say, but I think there would be less negative consequences to chose this option over changing the past.

I don't wish to see my future because I fear it. I wish this option was simply to "See the past", because I'm terrified that if I change the past I'm going to have a shitload of Mr. Smiths chasing after me.

If I change the past, things might change in the present for the worse. I'd like to see the future but just a very small glimpse of it to know what I have to do to change it.
