IDK if this'll make sense but...

I don't wanna live, yet I don't wanna DIE either. I guess I'm sorta in the middle here.

I don't want to die /yet./ I'm barely an adult. I still have things I want to do, people I want to meet, people I want to do (lol).
Seriously, I'm not ready to die now, when I haven't actually lived all that much.

To be honest, it's my sister/only sibling and my dad that keeps me from being "sorta in the middle" like ShadowFan100. My mom dying 8yrs ago was just horrible, and I know my sis and dad would be devastated if I died..........totally wouldn't want to put them through that!!!!!!

To April:

I'm sorry to hear that, April. And I'm glad ur still able to live despite all that. I don't really like my life, cuz of reasons I don't feel comfortable saying on the net. I really do feel like I'm in between living and dying.

To loYol:

So do I actually. I have tons of things I'd love to do, accomplish and stuff like that.

Wow. I'm in the middle, as well. If I keep living, it means I have more chances to make a difference in people's lives. If I die I know where I'm going, so I would be okay with that.

I can understand those who don't wanna die. We all came into the world with a very strong desire to live. And for those people who want to die must be EXTREMELY depressed.

And April, I am so overtaken that you love your family too much to put them in that grief! But if that's all you live for, you need to start living for something greater, because, like it or not, you will have to die one day.

loYol, I am barely a teenager, and yet, I wouldn't mind either. You see, I am living for something greater than anyone can imagine, and I will get claim that prize when I die.

hetalianstella picked I don't wanna die!:
I want to live life to the fullest~
But to be honest, I'm very curious about death. Of if there is something after we die. I'm an Atheist so I don't believe in Heaven or Hell or anything, but I have different scientific theories for what happens (if anything happens) after we die and I'm eager to see if any of them are true.
I have a life to live though, so it can wait <3

Go for it girl. Live life to it's fullest.

Okay, IF there is a Heaven and Hell after death, and you don't believe, you will end up in Hell. You are an Atheist, but there is always that chance. Think about this:
DO YOU WANT TO RISK IT?

hetalianstella picked I don't wanna die!:
According to the bible it does clearly state that me not believing I will go to hell. But see, I don't believe in hell exists at all. So I don't believe I have anything to worry about~ I don't think I'm risking anything~

And could you tell me why exactly I deserve to be tortured for all eternity for simply being an Atheist? I don't really comprehend on how someone could be a good person but yet still suffer forever simply for not believing. Does it really matter what you believe in? If God exists why would he care and judge you through just that? Why not judge more based on how much good you have done in your life instead of what you believe in? If he loves someone...why would he send them to be tortured for that?

You know, there's this one quote I very much like~
"Your religion is irrelevant to me. I care not what you think happened
at the dawn of creation or what will happen at the end of time. I care only how you lived your life:
Were you kind to strangers? Did you honor and respect the world around you? Were you honest and hard-working? Did you help everyone you could?
Did you fight for justice and equality? Did you love without fear, laugh without conceit
and sing as loud as you could? Will you die knowing you did your best?
These are the only things that matter."

I respect your beliefs but I'm just curious.

MineTurtle picked I wouldn't mind either way:
Well, God doesn't want you to be tortured for eternity. And God isn't going to send you to Hell, just because you 're an atheist. No, he's going to send you to Hell because you're a dirty, rotten sinner, just like me. The only difference between you and me is that I have accepted the gift of eternal life. Yes, I fail him every day, but when I ask for forgiveness, he gives it to me.
And with the judge thing, think about the person you're closest to. Now suppose he/she was brutally attacked and murdered in a parking lot. The criminal was caught and put on trial. But he says 'Hey, judge, I may have done this, but I've done a lot of a good in my life.' Now, if the judge let him go, would you say he was a good judge, or a bad judge?
And I thank you for respecting my beliefs. In return, I'll respect yours too.

I don't feel that I need to ask forgiveness to anyone for being human. All living things make mistakes and do wrong every now and then. That's just the way life works. And that is the way life has always and will always work.
That doesn't really answer my question. That murderer is being specifically judged for the crime of murder. It doesn't matter what other things he's done in his life, the judge doesn't care about that, he is only being prosecuted for that specific crime. His whole life isn't being judged, unlike God, which according to religion will judge our entire life and all we have done and decide if we belong in heaven or hell.

I don&# 39; t wanna die!
hetalianstella picked I don't wanna die!:
Well yes. Because the crime he is being held against is murder. The judge shouldn't be judging him based on other aspects of his life when he is supposed to be judged for one specific crime. That isn't the way court and law works. But court is very much different than the way God and religion is supposed to work~

I wouldn&# 39; t mind either way
MineTurtle picked I wouldn't mind either way:
Well, God is the Good Judge, and He will judge the guilty, not for what they did right, but what they did wrong. Earthly courts and God's court work in EXACTLY the same way. So when you break one of God's laws, He will judge you according to that.
You see, you can't impress God by living up to your own standards. You can only impress Him by living up to HIS standards. But we all know that's impossible. But because he loves us so much, he sent his ONLY son to give his life, so we could go live with him.
I hope I put that in terms that you can understand. And BTW, please feel free to ask questions about Christianity. I would be more than happy to answer them.

@MineTurtle: Thank you for taking the time to explain~

And since you offer I am curious. If you believe Atheists are going to go to hell for not believing in God then do you also believe people of other faiths like Hindus, Buddhists, ect. are also going to hell because they believe in a different God(s)?

MineTurtle picked I wouldn't mind either way:
That's not what I said. I never said people are going to Hell just because they believe in something different. I said they are going because they have failed to meet God's standards, just like me. They only reason I am not going to Hell is because I have accepted God's gift of salvation.
