Taylor's the queen of writing songs about people, and 'Bad Blood' was written about her former friend Katy Perry who reportedly poached some of her tour dancers. Katy took to Twitter after the song broke to tweet, 'Beware the Regina George in sheep's clothing'. Ouch!
Ed's emotional 'Don't' was said to have been written about Ellie Goulding after rumours surfaced that she had cheated on him with his pal Niall Horan. Awk!

Selena's heartfelt ballad was written about her on-off relationship with Justin, and the battle between the 'million reasons why I should give you up, but the hurt wants what it wants'. Selena put on an emotional performance of the song at the American Music Awards where she performed in tears.

Taylor's hit song 'We Are Never Getting Back Together' was rumoured to have been written about a certain Mr Harry Styles following their break up, and one of her new songs, 'Style' from her new album '1989' is also rumoured to be about the 1D heart throb. With lyrics like, 'You got that long hair, slicked back, white t-shirt' we can see a lot of resemblance to Hazza...

'Everytime' was Britney's response song to Justin Timberlake's 'Cry Me A River', featuring lyrics like 'I may have made it rain, please forgive me. My weakness caused you pain, and this song is my sorry', relating to the video and lyrics in Justin's song.

The song alludes to someone making her miss a Slick Rick The Ruler gig, but no-one will get between her and Mr Jones - Nas' real name being Nasir Jones. Seems like the song worked, as the pair became firm friends after he heard the track.

Although the actual song has little to do with the Western legend, the Gorillaz name checked the actor in the title. Damon Albarn, one of the writers behind the track said in 2001 that they hadn't heard from Clint about his response to the track but said, "I'm sure Clint Eastwood would like [the song]. He's an intelligent man."
