Should I give up on drawing?

I now feel like it'll go nowhere since all 아니메 looks the same apparently.......
And people will think I'm ripping off Kazue Kato's art style...
...and I'm not even that good.....
Should I give up on drawing?

For any of 당신 wondering how this overly-dramatic subject came up, here's a little insight: link

Yeah I agree that there are so many different art styles like Soul Eater and Holic are crazy different. But 저기요 everyone has those days; heaven knows I've overreacted before.

nah dude ur drawing's cute as fuck, besides, i know a lot of young artists (myself included) start out drawing in the 아니메 style before branching out and changing their technique.
and if ur worried about people thinking you're copying kazue then the best way to develop ur own style is to look at other artists that 당신 admire, try out their techniques, and keep drawing until 당신 find a style that's all your own!

No. Stop whining about how 당신 suck and just go and practice until 당신 get better. For crying out loud. If everybody gave up when they thought they were useless then the world would be devoid of human life (that doesn't include Hitler - he didn't give up and he wasn't useless).

I don't think 당신 should give up! I think you're pretty good, 당신 just need to keep practicing to get better and better. And who cares if your drawings look similar to someone else's art style? Lots of people have similar art styles. It's not a crime 또는 anything! As long as 당신 enjoy drawing and you're content with your art 당신 shouldn't care what other people say about it. And if 당신 feel like your drawings look just like all other 아니메 또는 whatever 당신 should try to experiment. Try different art styles that are 더 많이 realistic!~

Oh brother! Just because I said I don't care for the 아니메 style you're going to this big extreme! Talk about overly dramatic! If 당신 can't take criticism then that's probably a good idea! It doesn't matter if your art is good 또는 not because there will always be someone who won't like your work because 당신 can't please everyone. I don't like the 아니메 style but a lot of people do, despite that they all basically look the same. If 당신 wanna be an artist and draw, 당신 need to grow the hell up and learn to take the criticisms people have. If you're going to throw a tantrum over someone not liking something, 당신 probably should give up on your dream because that's how life works. Everyone is going to be criticized all their life no matter what they do and 당신 have to learn to deal with it. If 당신 사랑 what 당신 do, keep doing it and trying to get better! No artist in history didn't get inspired 의해 someone else's style! Just know that not everyone is going to like the same thing and 당신 can either take it with maturity 또는 just give up because one person said they didn't care for the 아니메 drawing style.

Something to help 당신 develop your skill is surround yourself with people 또는 artists online who are very good. Competition kickstarts improvement.

(plus, your drawing is actually good)

I agree, most 아니메 look the same. There's only very subtle differences. Compared to a lot of western cartoons, they can vary a lot more. Some are definitely unique, like Crayon Shin-Chan.
Although, idk what that has to do with anything. A lot of the stuff I draw look the same because it's my art style. Ripping off Kazue Kato's art style doesn't make 당신 failure. In order to get better at drawing, 당신 gotta copy drawing nature and stuff like that. 당신 can't expect to get better without being inspired 의해 other people. Lots of great artists are inspired 의해 other great artists.
I can't tell 당신 if 당신 should give up 또는 not. That's something 당신 gotta decide for yourself. But, for me, I wouldn't give up because someone said my drawing suck 또는 whatever. Just gotta filter that stuff. Take in critiques, bad 또는 good, that helps your artwork.
So yeah, here's an example of how all my artwork look the same lol. Nothing crazy about this 1 분 drawing on MS Paint.

If my two cents are worth any value, then please, do not give up on a hobby that 당신 are interested in. Drown out others' negative 코멘트 and let the passion unleash.

With a little bit of practice, your drawing skills can be molded into perfection. It saddens me deeply to see someone giving up their talents without letting them bloom... ='(

당신 shouldn't give up. All Artists need to start from somewhere and 당신 are at a good point. I like that one. 당신 have your sources of Inspiration as well as Motivation. There is no need to care about what other people will think if 당신 are doing something 당신 enjoy. Instead of stopping, seek ways to improve yourself. Practice makes better. Never give up on drawing

I know it can get hard & all but part of progressing as an artist is coming to terms w/ what needs help and improving those aspects. Even if it seems like there's no improvement atm as long as 당신 try each 일 the effort starts to show,, i"m speaking from personal experience here.

Anyway my point is that the choice whether to keep going 또는 not is personal but the 더 많이 effort 당신 put despite how small it may seem is never in vain
