As a medieval king, would 당신 feel safer having your castle's spiral staircase ascend clockwise 또는 counterclockwise?

Counter clockwise, because according to statistics, over 75% of people are right handed. If my stairs ascend counter clockwise, I would put my safety bars on the left side, causing the invaders to have a greater chance of slipping, due to holding the bar with their non-dominant hand.
