Why do some of 당신 guys worry about people's grammar???

that's for school this is the internet. 당신 won't expect people to type correctly spelled words.

Im sick of people telling other people to spell right, on the internet. its stupid and waste of time because they won't do it.

Not grammar, just spelling.Because I know my grammar isn't perfect, my native language is not english so I am pretty sure I make mistakes too, but I hate when someone spells stupid ("nite"-night, "lyke"-like, "rite"-right", "dis"-this and so on.

Using correct spelling, punctuation and grammar is not only polite manners and showing 당신 are educated but also makes things easier to read. Not all people on the internet are familiar with the English language and typing incorrectly can make it very difficult for them to understand you.
The only reasons i don't mind when people are incorrect with their spelling, grammar and punctuation are when they have either a mental incapacity, learning difficulties 또는 if they are of young age, say around 5-9 years.
If it's just pure laziness 또는 to make 당신 look 'cool' that doesn't wash with me. It makes 당신 look stupid and uneducated and if 당신 act like a child, people will treat 당신 like a child.

*facepalm* ...Why would 당신 feel offended 의해 something that is not remotely directed at you? If 당신 think that retard is referring to the handicapped, You're sadly mistaken. It's pretty much the same stupid thing as calling somebody a faggot. Fag and retard are both pejoratives.

Pejora-what? Well excuse me, but I've been called a retard numerous times because of my autism. And even though it doesn't refer directly to the mentally handicapped, it's the reason I don't appreciate using the word as mockery.

Because it's annoying when 당신 literally can't understand what someone else is saying. They either leave out the subject, 또는 a noun, 또는 scramble the sentence up to make it uncomprehensible. People don't really spell wrong on here, it's the grammar that ticks me off. Someone on 팬팝 actually said "Do hear her sing?" and thought it was a coherent sentence. Ugh.

But seriously, it does get annoying when people use bad grammar 또는 they intentionally spell things the wrong way. It only takes an extra press of the finger to spell things correctly! Although, I myself am guilty of (on purpose mind you) spelling 사랑 like luv...or typing 'cuz instead of because. Why 당신 may ask? 'Cuz it's fun :D

I won't say anything if it's just a typo, but when it's almost impossible to understand, then I will. It also depends on the content of the text. If this person writes completely incorrect, but what they're saying is no nonsense, I won't moan over it. But when it's complete crap I will say something about it.

I'm starting to understand what the sorta childish fuss is all about. 당신 speak with people 당신 don't know at all, so 당신 might as well show them you've got something to talk about, and 당신 know what you're talking about. In that point of view, I can understand people would find good grammar important on the internet.

But I still can't say that it bugs me. In fact, I don't mind at all when someone speaks in txt language. I think you're right, this is still the internet, and people might as well accept that everyone uses it. For me, grammar on a chatting site is not very important at all, there are a lot of 13-year olds on this site and I feel like I should cut those kids some slack.
