What should be the best answer of "how r u ?"

Do 당신 really care how I am? 또는 are 당신 just expecting me to say "I'm fine" because that is the generic response society has taught us to say? What if I told 당신 that I am depressed, hurt, lonely, aggravated, lost, fed up, frustrated, lifeless and every other negative emotion 당신 could feel? Would 당신 just tell me "That's too bad" and go on with whatever mundane thing 당신 are doing? 또는 would 당신 try to figure out why I am feeling that way and how 당신 can help stop it? Don't ask me that 질문 if 당신 are really only interested in one answer.
