i am new to 팬팝 please tell me some tips and rules of the road also please 팬 me? <3

The ironic thing is, rule number one is that 당신 shouldn't ask for fans. It's really pathetic. Sure, there are some people that'll add 당신 (mainly because they want 당신 to 팬 them back), but the people who can actually spell correctly won't. And we're the ones who'll beat 당신 to a pulp. (Figuratively, of course. Because I only like to literally beat oranges to pulp.) :)

All 당신 need to know is this:
-Don't be a faker 또는 a poser. 당신 will be destroyed.
-Use proper grammar unless 당신 want a Grammar Nazi invasion.
-Post things in the right place on the right spot. Keep in mind the difference between picks and answers
-Don't spam.
-Be yourself. Lying is pointless. Stand up for yourself.

And since you're a noob and I'm old here, I should tell 당신 that there are a lot of assholes here. (Yup, I'm one of them.) This is the internet.

Welcome to fanpop, Im Nicole, 또는 당신 can call me Nikki :) Im happy to help and Im here anytime when 당신 need it :D (Im one of those people that are on the nice side :p But that can change at times when needed...but I stay calm :p)

Its pretty cool to talk to people, these people are from all around the world. 당신 may find yourself on there alot.

-Your profile:
At your 프로필 당신 can add a 모토 and thats where your 벽 is where people and 당신 can write on, thats where it shows all the clubs 당신 joined and if 당신 press the "edit profile" button 당신 can add your favourite books, tv shows, music, and thats where 당신 add your b-day, and your name and motto. Your 프로필 will also show some 업데이트 on things in the clubs 당신 joined. 당신 can 업로드 사진 to your 프로필 of anything, for example pictures of 당신 또는 랜덤 things. 당신 will figure out your 프로필 quickly so I wont talk to much about that.

-Joining clubs:
They are great, thats mostly what the whole website is about. There are clubs about almost anything. And in those clubs 당신 can 가입하기 and 당신 can 업로드 pictures, videos, and write articles. 당신 can also make up your own clubs and hope that people will 가입하기 it and 당신 can make as many clubs 당신 want. (Heres the link if 당신 want: link ) I made a club about me and I put the link up on my 프로필 which helpd me get people to 가입하기 it. At clubs 당신 can also ask 질문 and answer 질문 and 코멘트 on different things

-To make 프렌즈 easily it is easier to go in the chat room, (Dont be shy to write anything) Be yourself. Stand up for yoruself.

-Warning in the chat room:
In that chat room 당신 will meet up with alot of people that will 팬 당신 and 당신 will meet up with 랜덤 comments, fights, convasations, arugements, sɥɔʇıq and @$$holds It can be a death zone in there sometimes but its pretty fun and funny to read it. Dont be shy to talk to people. Some people are nice but some are mean. Dont worry :)

-Warning about boys:
Boy may flrit with 당신 and most likely there will be a couple times where a boy will ask 당신 out. Its your choice to say yes 또는 no, but I know alot of people that have said yes. There are some hot boys are that website but some pictures they use are fake that they get from the internet, girls use fake pictures too (But I never bother commenting on it)

-Those are some basic stuff 당신 mainly should know for now :) If 당신 have any 코멘트 또는 concerses feel to ask.
-"Don't ignore bitches. It only makes 당신 weak and pathetic. Confront them and make a good argument. It earns 당신 respect." <-- This is true
-And dont ask people to 팬 you.
I cant think of any 'rules' that 당신 should actually 'follow'

1. If 당신 ask a serious 질문 then don't expect serious answers
2. get ready to deal with idealists, idiots, @$$ holes and great people all at once
3. Mentioning twilight 또는 Justin Bieber on this fanclub can be risky.

Well, nikki5515 has already given 당신 a pretty clear guide, so I won't go through the explanation on how 팬팝 works.
But welcome to fanpop! There aren't any specific rules that I can think of, other than don't spam, be abusive etc. But I'll give 당신 some tips :)

First tip, don't ask for fans! I'll let 당신 off, as you're new, but its pathetic, 당신 should earn your fans. If 당신 post content and answer 질문 like this, people will see who 당신 are and if they like it, they'll 팬 you. It's annoying when people ask as most of us have never asked for 팬 even when we started off, and we've managed. So 곰 that in mind.
Don't mention Justin Bieber on a spot that isn't related to him! Sounds stupid, but once he's mentioned, in either a good 또는 a bad way, haters will rip at him, and beliebers will fight to protect him. If you're either, I suggest 당신 keep 당신 opinion to a different spot.
Be yourself, and stick up for yourself. It's the only way you'll gain respect. Don't be afraid to be honest. There will be people who agree with you, and people who disagree with you, but don't feel offended if someone mocks your opinion. They're a stranger, a 랜덤 person, and their opinion is worthless, so don't take insults seriously. The arguments on here are just a bit of fun in my eyes, nothing to get het up about.
And have fun! Once 당신 get started, you'll get used to it. I can't even remember first joining fanpop, everything just flowed.

I have a warning for 당신 though: 팬팝 is addictive. Once you're on, 당신 can't get off. Just saying.
