Why is this?

Everywhere I go, in real life and online, everyone is saying that America is the worst country in the world and they want to 옮기기 to England. They treat it as if it is the holy land. I'm 0% American (but I have citizenship), but 당신 should learn to 사랑 your country. America has as many good things as England, and they both have their own political problems. Be proud of where 당신 live!
And we have one thing that can help us with these said problems: Freedom of speech. If 당신 notice a major problem, 당신 can rant, hold rallies, do what 당신 want.
I know that I'll get a lot of long rants to reply to this, but I just want to tell you. I don't mean to offend people in England. I like the country. I actually want to visit there. I'm just annoyed 의해 all of this unenthusiasm.

I'm also not saying that England doesn't have freedom of speech. If 당신 have any serious political problems on your mind, take action.

I don't know much of anything about England, but I do know a fair amount about America. And lemme tell you, it sucks.

People say we've got all the equality anyone can ever want. Ha, no. We've got racism, we've got gender discrimination, we've got homophobia galore. Woman president? Naw. Obama isn't even black, for God's sake. He's biracial. He's not even pro-gay marriage either. Equality is a big no no here. And sure, 당신 can look however 당신 want. But don't expect to get a good job if 당신 walk in to an interview tattooed and with a mohawk. 당신 might be the most intelligent applicant, the most capable and the kindest, but 당신 won't get the job because of how 당신 look. Stereotypes are the name of the game. And those stereotypes? They breed so much hatred it's like "WTF happened to America? Land of the free and 집 of the brave?" Hate crimes and murder and government officials not caring about those below them and lack of healthcare and poverty. Poverty. We're so far in debt it's ridiculous. And there's homelessness everywhere. A fair percentage of our population is living below the national poverty line, though I can't recall the exact number. And then there's voting. "If voting changed anything they'd make it illegal." Because I don't know if I believe that Americans have any power in their government. This country is really quite a disgusting place, in my opinion, between the people and the systems and the literal lack of cleanliness in cities and in the air and in the water.

And we even only have freedom of speech to an extent, 당신 realize. Like have 당신 seen that teacher blogger in the news? She blogged about how much she hated teaching, and is about to get fired for it. There's no rules against blogging where she works. Now, she shouldn't have said those things, but nothing says she can't. And yet, she might lose her job for speaking freely.

Ya, I agree. I mean, I think 당신 should be proud of wherever 당신 are born and wherever 당신 live. Plus, freedom of speech is something lots of other places don't have and we should appreciate it.
