I suppose you're right. It's not only 13 년 olds, though. Though, I do believe that children of that age tend to be 더 많이 backhand worthy.
I think it's becasue they're getting into pop culture and the media. They see people on 텔레비전 being dramatic and reacting in a way which would never happen in reality, thus appearing immature. They see it on televion, so they think it's cool. (think about all the middle school drama people go through. It's all Gossip Girl and One 나무, 트리 언덕, 힐 stuff)
They eventually grow wiser and realize 텔레비전 is just that. Television.
And 의해 the way (just an opinion of mine) I think shouting "HEY, I'M MATURE!!!" actually releavl the exact oposite.

I didn't. Well.....I had an obsession with Chucky the killer doll at thirteen years old (Don't ask) but other than that, I was pretty mature at thirteen.
I know you're talking about some specific group, but PLEASE specify in the 질문 so that the "sooo damn annoying and babyish" thriteen-year-olds don't corner you. This really would have pissed me off even 더 많이 if I hadn't known it wasn't about me.
